The manor hotel was renovated from a former monastery. The rooms are simple and elegant, and the bathroom is large enough. It has its own parking lot. The restaurant has good food. The garden is large and you can relax in it.

Four time staying there at this charming unique hotel over the past 15 years. The staff were all so friendly & attentive. Especially, Michelle the manager. She went of her way to accommodate are needs. The restaurant was amazing & food so delicious. We stayed there April 10th-13th. The hotel is in such a great location too. We highly recommend staying there. Wish we were still there!!!

Mindblowing - immer wieder gerne Wir sind nun schon das dritte mal in der Certosa. Sie ist inzwischen ein Fixstern in unserer jährlichen Reiseplanung. Dss Team ist zur Familie geworden und wir geniessen jede Minute. Die Stimmung, die Herzlichkeit und das absolut hervoragende Essen (siehe Bilder). Nichts könnte die Toskana besser repräsentieren als die Certosa und ihr vorzüglicher Gaumenschmaus in Verbindung mit einem ausgezeichneten Wein. Nur um es zu erwähnen. Hier gibt es auch die besten Cocktails - vertrauen sie dem Bar Man. Herzlichen Dank an Christiano, Colette, Michelle, dem Koch und das ganze Team für die schöne Zeit, wir kommen gerne wieder.

When you go to Italy you go for the culture, the food, the beauty, and the experience. This hotel gives you all of these in spades. It is set on a magnificent property that seems to go forever. The staff is superb. We have traveled the world, and Michelle is one of the best concierge we have ever met. She is multitasking in a way not humanly possible and supports each task with politeness and thoroughness. The owners are so lucky to have her. Giovanni is a great chef. We took a cooking class with him and learned so much. It was fun and educational and eating our creations was so satisfying. We had the tasting menu one night, and it was phenomenal. The staff along with Agatha’s help made you feel special. And Gabriel is a fantastic bartender. Everyone else smiled and was helpful and wanted us to enjoy our stay. We did for sure. I do not know if we will make it back to this part of Italy again. But if we do, there is no doubt we will stay here again.

Fabulous Hotel with great quality service. Concierge in particular gave us great restaurant and touring suggestions, and booked for us. Even arranged bike rental and route guide for 35km ride through the Tuscan hillside. Would highly recommend staying here if n the area for 3-4 days.

Hotel Certosa De Maggiano is a great hotel. Beautiful grounds and a very nice pool. The building used to be a monastery. They also have a church where you can watch the mass on Sundays. The staff is very nice, friendly and attentive. It’s a place to stay at least 4 days. If possible rent a car and drive in the beautiful country side. The hotel has parking which is a plus. They also have a nice restaurant. The hotel is only 2km of the city. You won’t regret staying there.

The hotel, set in an old 16th century monastery, is captivating in its charm. And this in turn is due to the quality of the food, the wine and the service in all areas. An extremely friendly reception, excellent service in both the restaurant and the bar, a cozy, rustic and tranquil ambience and the proximity to the city center of Siena characterize this wonderful place of power.

What an incredible experience! This hotel is very special - drop dead gorgeous architecture, thoughtful & artistic decor throughout, beautiful grounds. The suite was large enough for our family of four, and the views out to the vineyard & surrounding towns was breathtaking. The staff are incredible, the restaurant is high end and the breakfast is just fabulous. A very unique and luxurious experience. We can’t wait to come back!
