A wonderful evening at the kings resort. We had a swim and supper. The staff were so attentive and couldn’t have been more helpful or attended to our every need. The owner gave us a free cocktail and came over for a chat. We had a delicious three course meal in a wonderful setting.

We found everything about the hotel and its staff to be outstanding. Starting with swift helpful responses to pre-trip emails to arrange a driver to pick us up at Colombo Airport, to the warm welcome and attentiveness of all the staff (from the owner to grounds maintenance and cleaning team) to ensure we had a wonderful start to our first trip to Sri Lanka - everything was exceptional. The location of the hotel cannot be beaten and the birdlife, easily viewable on the adjacent lake, provided an unexpected bonus - when not climbing the nearby rocks or relaxing by the pool with an ice cold Lion lager!

What stood out was the kindness of the staff. Service was excellent! Would love for more Sri Lankan options on the dinner menu. But this was more than made up for with the delicious Sri Lankan breakfast. Hotel also offers a very nice view and a very serene atmosphere in the middle of nature.

Situation exceptionnelle pour un naturaliste au bord de l'eau et au pied des 2 célèbres rochers mais tout autant pour le visiteur à proximité des sites archéologiques du triangle culturel et de plusieurs parcs nationaux. Prestations hôtelières de grande qualité et cuisine variée et succulente dans un style Orient/Occident (demi-pension). Belle carte des vins. Accueil parfait de l'ensemble des personnels et grande disponibilité pour répondre à toutes vos préoccupations. On s'y sent vite comme des invités plus que comme des clients.

This was just the best! Everything from the room to the food to the service was just first class. It was our favourite place to stay during the 3 week trip. The room was huge, clean & comfortable. The food was the best we had on our trip which is really saying something. Our driver stayed in a little home stay nearby & he couldn’t have been happier. Can’t recommend enough!

Lors de notre voyage au Sri Lanka, nous avons séjourné quelques nuits au Sirigiya King's Resort. Avant notre arrivée, j'avais déjà échangé quelques mails avec l'hôtel pour l'anniversaire de mon épouse. Les échanges étaient parfaits. A notre arrivée sur place, nous avons été parfaitement acceuillis par le personnel sur place avec un verre de bienvenue. Nous avons ensuite eu accès à notre chambre (104). Très belle avec une superbe vue. Elle était très grande et très propre. La salle de bains était très grande aussi. Le personne a laissé une petite attention pour l'anniversaire de mon épouse. Nous avons pris les repas de midi sur place et avons mangé à l'extérieur le soir. Les repas sont très bons. Les prix sont un peu élévés mais restent corrects. La nourriture est fraiche et bonne. Le restaurant est magnifique et le service parfait. Nous avons eu la possibilité de prendre notre dernier petit déjeuner dans une cabane perchée dans les arbres. Aucune fausse note sauf peut être le chemin d'accès à l'hôtel chaotique.... Il serait peut être nécessaire de reboucher les trous. Possibilité de faire appel à des TUKTUK via PICK ME. Merci aussi à l'équipe pour l'organisation du vol en mongolfière. Je vous recommande cet hôtel les yeux fermés. A proxité des rochers et de Dambulla. Situation parfaite pour découvrir la région.
