Lovely hotel, very comfortable room and great staff. Highly recommend and for once the reviews really did reflect the quality of the accommodation The breakfast was tasty and there was plenty of it Hotel organised a car for us to travel to Kandy

Family of 3 adults and 3 children stayed 3 nights. We thoroughly enjoyed the hotel, its swimming pool and the staff who were great. Meals were excellent. Rooms were large but rather sp****. Hopefully they'll add a table and chairs - there's plenty of room - because there isn't any other indoor space for the dawn and dusk mosquito challenge (for westerners like us.) There's plenty to see and do around Sigiriya and tuk tuks could take you most places if you don't have a driver. We had a wonderful experience with a local community with a bullock cart ride, boat ride, cooking demonstration, wonderful lunch and tuk tuk rides home. The children (9, 7 and 2) thoroughly enjoyed it, and there was plenty for the adults to learn and experience.

Excellent accueil, équipe à l'écoute et aux petits soins. Chambres très spacieuses et très propres. Grande piscine Jardin très bien entretenu et très bien fleuri Lieu caché et très bien situé pour visiter le rocher du lion. Nous avons dîner sur place les 2 soirs, excellente cuisine. Continuer comme ça 😉

Une petite pépite bien cachée. Merveilleux petit hôtel à quelques pats du rocher de Sigiriya ou vous pourrez vous détendre après avoir monté toutes ces marches. Belles chambres spacieuses et propres, salle de bain au top. La disposition des chambres qui entoure la jolie petite piscine donne la sensation d'un petit cocon très bien entretenu et très fleurit. le personnel est aux petits soins et à l'écoute des clients. Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment dans cet hotel.

As everybody has said before this little place is an oasis with a big welcome. The rooms are spacious and clean and the guys that run the hotel are really helpful and always busy, tending to the gardens or doing behind the scenes maintenance. To keep a place looking good you have to work at it and these fellas do a great job.

First of all, I have to highlight that I am a hotelier, and during my holidays I visit different types of accommodations with an eagle eye, observing every small detail. The 'hotel' was the highlight of our entire stay in Sri Lanka. They also have a pool in the middle of their jungle paradise. The rooms are cozy, spacious, and clean. Our hosts were amazing, friendly, and attentive. One morning, we visited the Lion Rock, and before the excursion, they provided bananas before breakfast to ensure we wouldn't get hungry during the trip. If you're visiting Sigiriya or the surrounding area, this is a must-visit place for you!

Breakfast exceptionnel ! Un havre de paix, piscine à 29 degrés, chambres sommaires mais spacieuses et literie ultra confortable. L'équipe de l'hôtel est aux petits soins pour les clients des 6 chambres : l'assurance de tomber sur un hôtel de charme ou l'on se sent chez soi. Je recommande ! Petit bémol : il y a actuellement une construction en cours à côté et les travaux débutent des 6h du matin. Demandez les chambres de gauche car les travaux sont à droite 🫠

Un grazie a Raveen che ci ha ospitato nel suo stupendo "Il Frangipane Hotel" grazie al suo staff che con la loro gentilezza e cortesia ci hanno fatto sentire come a casa, La nostra vacanza è stata semplicemente fantastica. camere grandi con totto il necessario, pulizia perfetta, letti comodi per un sonno perfetto. Cucina strpitosa con prelibatezze cingalesi e internazionali. Un consiglio per essere certi di una vacanza "speciale" non esitatate prenotate al " IL FRANGIPANE" Sigirya

It perhaps wasn't such a bright idea to start my trip with this hotel as all the others after this (bar a couple) were very disappointing. The hotel is a few hundred metres from the main road, down a small, but easily accessible dirt road. The staff were very welcoming and provided a much needed pot of coffee on my arrival. The room is pretty blooming big and very comfy. Not that I got in it, but the swimming pool looked blooming lovely. The hotel is situated only a few minutes drive away from the national park, so it's a good base. Also there's a few decent restaurants a few minutes walk away too. The breakfast in the morning had to be the best breakfast I had during my entire stay. Keep it up. It seemed the further i got into my trip into the Sri Lanka, the more money I paid for a hotel, the smaller the breakfast got.
