The staff of this hotel understands what hospitality is. They all work hard to ensure that the hotel is not only clean and tidy, but also that you enjoy being there. Very nice establishment, you feel very good there! Very spacious bedroom and bathroom, beautiful walk-in shower, comfortable king size bed, courtesy tray, small bottles of water. Air conditioning + ceiling fan. Magnificent swimming pool (very warm). Nice dinner and breakfast, little choice of drinks. I advise you to go see the Lion Rock on the top floor. The only negative point is very isolated, it is impossible to go for a walk outside the hotel grounds, particularly in the evening, we met an elephant not far away.

We were on a tour through Sri Lanka and one event during our trip was the "Mahaovita Dinner“ of the Cassandra Culture Resort. We didn't know what to expect, and we had one of the most fantastic experiences I can think of. I always want to find out about how people live and eat in each country, so here we had a great chance to find out. It took place in a little hut by a lake, started with a local drink and then we not only learned about local food but they showed us how the different meals were made, we could even prepare some ourselves. Then we all ate with our fingers, as it's done here in Sri Lanka. What can I say, the food was delicious, the people very friendly, especially our host Miss Pramodya Herath was extremely friendly and open. It was a pleasure to join this dinner experience. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Thank you, Pramodya and team, for a wonderful evening.

A modern hotel with luxuriously furnished rooms. We had room no. 125 on the third floor with a view of the lion rock, beautiful! The food and service are excellent and the super nice staff really does their u**ost to make you happy every time. The lady in charge, Pramadya Herath, will arrange everything for you and is a consummate hostess! Thank you all and see you soon!

We are returning to Sri Lanka for the fourth time, each time we start our holiday in Sigiriya. We are very glad that we found the Cassandra Culture Resort hotel. Every year the hotel gets better and better. We liked that the hotel management and staff are trying to make your stay enjoyable and memorable. I would also like to mention the hotel owner, who speaks Russian very well - he is a very interesting conversationalist. After a long flight, when you reach your hotel, go for a massage, visit numerous attractions or go on a safari. After which it will always be a pleasure to return to the Cassandra Culture Resort. Next time we will definitely start our vacation from this hotel.

Nice big room! Very friendly staff. Pramodya in particular, she speaks excellent English. Gives great tips for doing something! The food is fine. It is a nice hotel, with a swimming pool that literally borders the jungle. All in all a great accommodation, definitely worth a visit.

Very nice experience at the Cassandra Hotel, where we spent two nights. Magnificent view of Lion's Rock (thanks for the upgrade to a suite ;-))! Very pleasant swimming pool and calm and soothing environment (in the middle of nature). Delicious meal. Promodya and his team are very cheerful and attentive. To recommend without hesitation!

A very nice hotel in an excellent location to discover the Sigiriya area. Spacious and comfortably furnished room with top WiFi. Very quiet and well kept resort with a large and very clean pool. A very tasteful restaurant, which allows romantic outdoor meals in the fresh air. The quality of the generous menu is exceptionally good. However, the heart of the hotel is the friendly and helpful staff. Every wish is read from your eyes with pleasure. Above all, Mme Pramodya, the absolutely professional and very amiable person responsible for the catering area, advised us very well and made it possible to prepare a Sri Lankan specialty especially for us. I stayed at Cassandra from March 1 to 3, 2024. The hotel is quiet, at the edge of the forest, has air-conditioned, spacious rooms with safe, drinks and refrigerator and a beautiful swimming pool with deckchairs and loan of towels. Good breakfasts and dinners (a different menu in the evening + à la carte dishes to choose from) The hotel staff is very friendly and welcoming. Special mention for Pramodya Herath, very professional and very kind. Very attentive to customer requests. She met all our expectations and requests. Glad to have gotten to know him.
