We stayed for 2 nights , it is a very British style hotel with lots of naval history in all the rooms , everyone was very friendly and helpful very close to the town centre great view from the balcony

Really amazing! Steeped in history, great view and service. The rooms are very comfortable and each room is named after a ship. Nice pub to watch the sort at and close to eveyrything Simons Town has to offer.

Friendly staff, quite conveniently located for visiting Cape Point. Restaurant in process of having a menu to order from again soon, but the braai option was very nice. Will definitely recommend 100%.

No attention for detail. Cables for tv is all over the place. Carpet got allot of burn marks. No information in room for example how to order meals, WiFi code. Roof fan is useless. Will not stay there again.

We were double booked and arrived on a Friday afternoon at 15h, only to find out we need to look for alternative accommodation. This was during a long weekend. That part was not my problem as these type of mistakes do happen. What bothers me is the fact that the lady at Lord Nelson Inn knew about the double booking since 11h00 that morning when she received a mail from ***********, yet she did not inform us or queried the mail she received from *********** to find out what happened. Furthermore, while we waited in their reception area we had a drink, and were charged for it. I felt she could have given that on the house. Simon's Town, hopefully we see you again! Lord Nelson Inn, we will pass thanks!

We stayed in room 5 just nuisance. Everything was amazing, the staff take super good care of you. They are friendly and helpful. We went back with the kids a weekend later and stayed in room 1 lady emma hamilton. We stayed some hours extra no extra cost and booked in earlier the next weekend and will definitely stay longer sunday to enjoy the sunday braai again. The bar area, food, rooms everything is just great. If you visit simons town this hotel will be nr 1 on my list. I will go back there everytime im in simons town. If you visit here, dont forget to ask about the Ghost walk with Andre.
