I am very disappointed in the doing business with La Quinta. I am traveling with my granddaughter who became very ill with a virus and had to cancel my reservation. I was notified by trip.com to provide medical proof. I provided the doctor's note and received another email requesting additional medical notes, etc. My daughter the mother of my grandchild states she is not providing them with all her personal information and medical notes should be sufficient. I do not have any control of my granddaughter getting a virus which caused her to have diarrhea/vomiting/and headaches.
I find it very unfair La Quinta is unwilling to give me a refund.
this is Definity bad customer service.
I will never make any further reservations with La Quinta/My trip .com.

Have stayed at La Quinta numerous times. The last 3x have had bugs in the room. Back in sept couldn’t tell what kind of bug it was, was out and scampered under the lamp, asked for different room. In early dec had some spiders. The week of june 21th 2024 had the spiders and some other kind of bugs. Was on the 3rd floor. The real killer for not going back, on the 3rd floor was in a room with 2 full size beds. Climbed into 1st bed and it was lumpy big time , mattress completely shot. I switched over to 2nd bed and that was fair at best Hard to believe management not stepping up taking care of the bugs and getting some new mattresses in Sad, have been long time customer, but time to do my homework and find another property to stay at.

They have a 24 hour continual airport shuttle, not under the hotel name but laz fly worked great. Outside door number 4. Room was fine with standard hotel breakfast, could have used decaf coffee. Would stay again why flying into Hartford. All the standard amenities

The location was perfect since I was working in the area. The staff was courteous, room was clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was subpar. Not much to choose from and no fruit. My main complaint was the woman pounding on a door in the hallway on the third floor at 3:30am and arguing with someone. This lasted about 45 minutes until she went inside of another room and settled down.

There was hair on the pillow and bedsheets when I arrived i was there for 5 nights every night my room card won’t work I had to go to reception and get it fixed that happen to me 5 nights I would never go back again

Staff was pretty rude not very hospitable. Loud noises outside the room on the first floor (loud music playing all night). No drinking water anywhere. Fan in bathroom was very loud.
