Coliwoo Hotel Balestier Reviews

It's a mini apartment-style hotel and I was given a decent sized room. You can actually cook and utensils are provided. Metro station is a bit far but public bus is very much accessible. I have informed them via whatsapp that there was a power outage in my room and they were able to send someone to address the problem.The only downsides are that the hotel has no lift (needs power lifting your luggage to 2nd or 3rd floor), needs 50SGD deposit per day of stay via credit card, and housekeeping is not done on a daily basis.

Great location. Walking distance to many popular local dishes. The room was clean and modern, with all the necessary equipment for cooking/laundry. The ideal place to stay if you intend to stay for a period of time in Singapore.

No lift Walk up 3rd floor I am OK, daily exercise routine Clean n new Just tat no room service, is allowed to cook so the left over be smelly once over 2days.. Leave it outside also none will clear it, have to contact the person request to clear, but will prompt response

Room is clean and tidy with kitchennte. Only one issue is cigarette smoke smell once entered the room and the toilet always have this smell. Would suggest if you also provide table for eating.

Overall is good + window room size and layout is good.( I dont have big lugguage) + window is big, allows good natural light in the room. + room is clean and quite new. - quite noisy because window and door are not sound proof, you can hear a traffic noise and people talking in the corridor. - my room has no hair dryer but I think can ask from the hotel if needed - there is no reading light in the room.

Location is good and easy to access. Recommended not to drive and bring own vehicle.check in and check out process is easy.

I have been travelling for business extensively for a while. Thus far, Coliwoo Balestier is simply one of the finest in terms of quality in service, quality in meeting customer expectations where one expects the service to be potentially rendered is meted out to the finest,and also Coliwoo's excellent customer service staff I have ever encountered Ms Kelly, this enchanting and serene place guarded sacredly by its guardians such as Ms Kelly whom I cited before, its time the entire hotel industry relook at their customer service rendered and product provided,Coliwoo Balestier is simply the finest and best thus far.

- when retrieving room card, saw two guys seated in the locker room, looking at their mobiles, but didn't mention to me on siging any form whatsoever. - retrieved card and proceed to room as described in PDF emailed to me - while sleeping, heard someone knock on door and heard someone saying "Maintenance". Went to put on clothes, and while doing so, heard the door lock unlocking, quickly went to stand back to back to door to prevent it from opening as I'm still dressing - opened door upon fuly dressed and stood a man outside asking me to sign on a form (mobile no, date, email address, signature) after which he asked for my ID saying he wants to take photo - as I didn't hear from anyone or any email with regards to someone coming to my room to ask for such, in addition I've already given a copy of my ID on whatsapp (********, 3:24pm), I refused to provide my ID and told him to check with his manager and if any issue to call me instead

Overall... 4⭐... Great for staycay

I liked the hotel, convenient location, from this point you can get anywhere by public transport.

Although the room is not large, it is well-equipped with induction cookers, refrigerators, cooking utensils, microwaves, etc.; the TV faces the single bed and can be connected to YouTube; and there are glass windows beside the bed to provide natural lighting. There is just enough space under the bed to store suitcases and shoes, and the work table can be pulled out from the wall, making perfect use of the space. Note that there is no elevator in the hotel, so you need to walk up two to three flights of stairs. There is no subway station near the hotel, but you can take a bus to connect to major subway stations.
