Park Avenue Clemenceau

We liked: Very welcoming reception staff; special thanks to Vidaya, for all her help. Maps available at check in. Spacious modern apartment, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and furnishings. Modern equipped kitchen with utensils and an efficient washer dryer. A reasonable sized swimming pool is on the 5th floor, again spotlessly clean. A few minutes walk from Fort Canning MRT station and a short walk to Robertson Quay and Clarke Quay. There is an excellent supermarket on the 1st floor of the adjacent shopping centre and a 7/11 mini market on the ground floor. For a drink/snack, we loved the Sque Bar at Clark Quay Central, outside seating which overlooks the river. Things that could be better: For starters, let me say that we would be more than happy to return here and because the good bits were so good. The hotel is a little difficult to find, and with the refurbishment is currently only announced by temporary signage. Take the lift to the 5th floor to the welcoming reception area. The spotless bathroom looks great but needs a little tweaking. The shower curtain is inadequate for the bath design and the water is channelled from the back of the bath onto the bathroom floor. Housekeeping is every 2-3 days, which is fine, it is an apartment after all and the cleaner is excellent. But the "housekeeping rounds" commence at 9:00am. This is very early for a self catering establishment, particularly as many guest have travelled from different time zones.

Great staff, recently renovated room, and excellent location near to the UE Square Mall, MRT, and lovely Fort Canning park. I would recommend Park Avenue Clemenceau without reservation. Special mention: Vijaya at front desk is very very helpful and always cheerful.

I stayed at head suites for 19 nights on a business trip. Recently renovated rooms, all new appliances and furniture. Bed was extremely comfortable , rooms quiet and plenty of space to work from the suite. Good access to public transport and plenty of choice of nearby restaurants

Stayed here for 12 days and it was perfect for us. Close to clarke quay and Robertson quay (in our seventies and we walked easily). It was very humid and the apartment washer/dryer got a workout. Comfy bed and pillows and fully functioning kitchenette if you need it as well as full size fridge. Pool was great after a day out or simply a “relax day”. The staff were so helpful. This apartment has bus stop at the door and fort canning MRT station about 200metres. We used the buses and trains every day to go somewhere it walked. Both 7 eleven and CS supermarkets next door. We would definitely stay again if we get back to Singapore.

Good points: Location is ok. Near MRT and several bus routes. Supermarket, 711 and restaurants downstairs. Units are a good size and have been recently renovated (although only to DIY standard unfortunately) Bad points : Walls are paper thin and you can hear neighbours moving around, even going to the toilet. Also a busy road on one side and late night bars on the other. Chairs in dining area have hard plastic feet which scrape on the floor…many residents do not seem to care about making this horrible screeching sound. Very poor sleep quality. Breakfast is a joke really, just a few small pastries, some bread you have to toast yourself and a boiled egg. Think twice about paying for breakfast. Swimming pool is depressing, surrounding by concrete buildings. Staff are disorganised. Overall a very disappointing stay of a month.

Zhi Hui took the extra mile to check complimentary parking and call me back when there wasn’t any and offer me an alternative to park at the most economical value. A genuine and attentive front desk service staff worth hiring for sure.

We have been staying Parc Avenue when we have long stays for awhile now This time we stayed for 2 months and without doubt this was and will always be our first choice The location is brilliant The rooms and toilet are clean and very comfortable The cleaners do a great job thrice a week and always with a smile and willing to go that extra mile But the main reason for us to keep coming back is mainly three people who make us feel completely at home and they are always there to look into every little need of ours Manjula you are amazing Your communication and solving issues is really commendable Thanks so much for making sure you gave us a room at such a last minute request John Cheong and Rageswari thank you so much for putting a smile on our faces every morning noon and night ! The greetings come from your heart and you will be always remembered Thanks for taking care of us and I wish the 3 of you only the best !

Good property, wide 2 bedroom flat well equipped even if appliances can be old sometimes. Cleaning could have been better but acceptable. Reception (John and Dajes) very efficient and ready to help. Well located (central) and nearby all facilities to go out. Lots of coffee places for breakfast in the morning, very useful.
