V Hotel Bencoolen

For my trip to Singapore, I chose to stay at V Hotel Bencoolen, and my overall experience was quite good. The hotel boasts a very convenient location, just a short walk from the MRT station. Right next door, there's a money exchange office, making it super easy to get Singapore dollars, and you'll find UnionPay-friendly ATMs nearby too – really handy for tourists. The hotel staff were attentive and responsible. I was pleasantly surprised during check-in to find a staff member who spoke Mandarin, which really eased any communication stress. There was just one minor snag. On occasion, after the daily cleaning, the housekeeping staff on my floor would forget to restock some toiletries like toothbrushes and slippers. However, once I contacted hotel services, the items were delivered to my room quite promptly, so the overall service attitude was still very good.

Stayed for two nights in Singapore. The bed sheets and duvet covers were quite clean; I didn't even need to use my disposable bedding. Overall, it was great, and the front desk service was excellent. Good value for money. I think I'll stay here again next time I visit, as it's very close to the MRT station, which is super convenient. A big thank you to all the staff at the hotel. Everything was perfect, except for the room being a bit small, making it difficult to open my suitcase.

The hotel is right above Nagore Station, making transportation incredibly convenient. However, the room is quite small.

Service: The front desk staff were very enthusiastic, which is the only aspect that deserves a high score. Environment: The location is decent, right by the metro exit, which is the only real plus for the environment. I didn't sleep a wink all night at this hotel. When I checked in, it was already past midnight, and there was a deafening roar from some equipment outside the window. I thought it was the air conditioning unit, but when I woke up in the morning, I realized it was the noise from some unknown equipment on the roof. Even with earplugs, I couldn't block it out. I got no sleep on my first night in Singapore. Cleanliness: I'd say it's just average. Not dirty, but everything felt a bit old and worn. Overall, if you're a good sleeper, you might consider it, as the location is good and the price is relatively cheap. However, if you're a light sleeper, please think twice!
