1st red flags upon arriving were (1)the sour face from the chinese receptionist girl who don’t even bother to greet (2) her irritating insistence on us furnishing proof of my 2 kids birthcert or passport. We are locals on a staycation and never had once being instructed to give our kids passports on any local hotels before yet this small boutique motel insisted on it. We already arrived passed 4pm on a rainy day but being given the unwelcome look was clearly something i couldnt stand for. Not less her nonchalant manner for which her laptop is more important than guests. After getting through the 1st annoyance we went to our room and i swore this is the smallest room i’ve ever stayed in! Not the cleanest too. The toilet is more bigger than that room i tell u. Highly not recommended for families. Only stayed here because the kids wanted to try out the jacuzzi bathtub which was quite horrible to say the least. Clover hotel saving grace was the night shift receptionist chinese guy who was quite friendly and nice and the maintenance malay guy who showed us how to work the jacuzzi buttons. But to visit this motel (more deserving title).. hell no!

Great location, friendly staff.
The room is a little bit old, and the shower place do not have cover, so the water will splash out when you are showering.
I except that all are great and value for money!

The services is good and theres bus stop in front of the hotel which is very convenient.
The hotel room is clean and worth the price. Will definitely come back again.

The hotel is in a good location, almost in the city center, only 2 kilometers away from Merlion Park. The house feels like a converted historical building. After we checked in, we found that the wall of one room was leaking. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic to help change the room. The front desk can also communicate in Chinese and their attitude is very friendly.

Room was a bit small and there were ants in the toilet. The location is very good and u can find lots of restaurants around the hotel.
