This hotel was unfortunately a disappoin**ent. It is located in a very dull area. There are no restaurants nearby. The ones in the area are neither pleasant nor offer good food. One must travel all the way to Syracuse to eat, either by car or paying for a taxi, which is very expensive. It would cost 35 euros one way for the four of us, and the car ride takes about 12 minutes. Moreover, the hotel is very run down. The rooms are worn out and feel unclean. The first room we got was not properly cleaned and had mold in the shower and a hair in the bed. We switched to a cleaner room, but it still wasn't the standard expected of a 4-star hotel. The hotel also does not have a restaurant, and breakfast consists of dry bread, cookies, fruit, and yogurt. Given that there are no nearby restaurants, it's odd that the hotel doesn't offer dinner or lunch. The pool area is okay. The pool is shallow but clean. Decent sun loungers, but no cushions. What is called a "kids' play area" is essentially just a small plastic house on a lawn, nothing more. The only positive is that the staff is very friendly and accommodating. They tried their best, but the facilities and the area, unfortunately, do not meet the standard.
