The Hotel Borgo Pantano is located in a rural area to the west of Siracusa. It is a series of connected buildings. We were given a handicap accessible suite across a small patio from the hotel lobby. Unlike some of our companions, we had windows that could be opened to let fresh air in. The hotel has a large lawn area with a beautiful pool. There is a second, heated pool near a small botanical garden. We dined at the restaurant three nights and found the food excellent. The hotel has an outstanding breakfast bar with the usual eggs and cereal. It also has one table with a large variety of fruits. Then there is a table with dozens of pastries (my wife counted 44). We found that the served excellent coffee which is unusual in Europe.

Scegliamo Borgo Pantano su raccomandazione di amici per il nostro primo viaggio con nostra figlia Emma Lia di 8 mesi. Arriviamo e ad attenderci c’è un borgo incantato, dove il silenzio, la pace e la natura ti abbracciano facendoti immediatamente immergere nel relax della vacanza. Cura in ogni dettaglio è il titolo della recensione: la proprietaria Giusi è onnipresente, dalla cena alla colazione dirige l’orchestra dei suoi incredibili collaboratori senza farsi sfuggire nemmeno la posizione non allineata di una tartina nel copioso e abbondante buffet della colazione. Si aggira tra i tavoli per assicurarsi che tutto sia ******almente ma memorabilmente perfetto. Cibo eccellente, ma la colazione è il vero tocco magico di questa struttura meravigliosa: un’offerta vasta, variegata, originale, raffinatissima e rigorosamente artigianale ti fa spaziare dal dolce al salato con un’esperienza olistica che coinvolge tutti i sensi e rapisce il cuore. Il personale, con la sua empatia genuina ed una gentilezza indimenticabile, è però in assoluto il fattore che vale l’intero viaggio e che porta anche chi che come me non è avvezzo o solito a lasciare recensioni, a sentire quasi l’obbligo morale di scrivere queste poche righe per decantare il pregio di questa struttura ricettiva sperando che coloro che si imbatteranno in esse possano un giorno godere di un’esperienza simile. costanza paolo ed Emma Lia.

Torniamo qui da nove anni, ogni anno, anche due volte all' anno quando ci è possibile. Ogni volta riceviamo un' accoglienza speciale calorosissima, come fu la prima volta. Il livello di servizio alberghiero è altissimo già da quando si arriva nell' ampio e comodo parcheggio interno. Il personale della reception è sempre molto professionale, pronto nel fornire ogni servizio con tanta gentilezza. Il ristorante è un luogo dove si viene coccolati con tanta cura e dove si gustano piatti molto prelibati preparati dallo staff della cucina di alto livello come le materie prime utilizzate. La piscina è grandissima e curatissima da Alberto, contornata da un prato incantevole grandissimo e perfetto. In oltre c'è anche un meraviglioso biolago incastonato in un contesto da fiaba. Tutto il parco è un vero paradiso terrestre! Le camere sono tutte originali e confortevoli, arredate con gusto e con materiali di recupero. L' ecosostenibilità qui è un must. Torneremo ancora perché il soggiorno qui è un vero toccasana, mente e corpo si rigenerano. Un ringraziamento speciale va alla Signora Giusy, la proprietaria sempre presente che elargisce a tutti la sua energia positiva e la sua gentilezza. Il ringraziamento speciale lo estendiamo a tutto lo staff, gentilissimo e allegro, che ci coccola come mai in nessun altro posto. Salvo e Rossella.

We had an amazing week at this outstanding hotel celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and wow they really did spoil us ! Great location for exploring the area, beautiful surroundings, wonderful food and fantastic staff - nothing was too much trouble throughout our stay. We would recommend one of the 2 floor suites as you get a private roof top terrace. Really cannot fault the hotel. All the dedication that Giusi and her team put in really shows. Thanks for a wonderful experience - we’ll definitely be back.

Sono appena rientrata da una fuga infrasettimanale in questo splendido hotel con mio marito e la nostra bimba di 3 anni. Siamo stati così bene che ho già la nostalgia... Mi mancano le coccole giornaliere che lo staff ci ha riservato. Piccole premure che fanno la differenza, e che non sono assolutamente scontate: ad esempio il fatto che ci salutavano ricordando i nostri nomi ogni volta che passavamo dalla hall, che la governante si sia premurata di chiederci se avevamo orari di preferenza per il rifacimento della camera in base alle abitudini della bimba, che al ristorante ci abbiano riservato sempre lo stesso tavolo ricordandosi la nostra preferenza della prima sera. E tutto questo nonostante l'hotel fosse al completo. Ci siamo sentiti speciali. Grazie! Un grazie speciale alla padrona di casa, la signora Giusi, che accoglie personalmente gli ospiti ogni giorno e si prodiga per ogni loro esigenza, a Seuko, il factotum che ci ha addirittura assistito con un problema alla nostra auto, a Jessica, la babysitter che si è presa buona cura della nostra bimba, e allo chef Pasquale che ha viziato il nostro palato con piatti e dolci squisiti (la caponata migliore mai mangiata e quella mousse al caramello salato che crea dipendenza...)ai ragazzi e alle ragazze della reception e del ristorante. Non riesco a nominarli uno ad uno ma li ringrazio tutti. Torneremo !

Un’accoglienza degna di un hotel 5 stelle!Siamo stati coccolati sin dal nostro arrivo con preziosissimi consigli su cosa visitare e sui servizi dell’hotel. Preziosissimo quello gratuito della baby sitter, che si è presa cura della nostra piccola mentre noi ci rilassavamo in giardino nella piscina riscaldata o nella spa. Molto ricca in varietà e quantità la colazione, una delle più originali viste in giro per gli hotel. Di ottimo livello anche il ristorante, motivo per cui abbiamo preferito cenare quasi sempre in struttura. location fantastica. Un’oasi di pace a pochi passi dai principali punti di interesse. L’hotel, consigliatoci da diversi amici, si è rivelato ben al di sopra delle nostre aspettative, tanto da aver prenotato per il prossimo luglio. Non vediamo l’ora di ritornare.

Amazing gem in southern Sicily. Can't fault anything as the food, service, grounds, room and pool are spot on . If you are looking to get away from it all and relax in beautiful surroundings come here. Guisy and her wonderful staff are very welcoming. We have thoroughly enjoyed our week here. This lovely hotel is highly recommended.

Un lieu exceptionnel ! Cet hôtel a une âme et il le doit à sa propriétaire qui tout les matins prend le temps de discuter avec chaque client, de l écouter et de le conseiller comme s il était un ami. Cette attitude bienveillante se retrouve dans tout le personnel, amical , souriant et très à l écoute ( mention spéciale pour Martina à l accueil). Nous sommes restés trois nuits. Ce que nous avons préféré en plus: L organisation générale du lieu: chambres, jardins, piscines , multiples petits coins détentes, deco.. le lieu est vaste mais très calme et on se sent immédiatement confortable Le petit déjeuner avec ses produits cuisinés et frais, il y en a pour tous les goûts L offre restauration, très qualitative et tout compte fait plus agréable le soir Il faut un véhicule, un peu excentre mais si vous le pouvez n hésitez pas!

Un cadre enchanteur :une magnifique propriété en pleine nature, parfaitement entretenue et dont on peut déjà profiter à partir d’une chambre grande et confortable. La table : - une cuisine fine et savoureuse, les spécialités siciliennes mises en valeur; de beaux vins - un petit- déjeuner exceptionnel , par la grande diversité et la qualité des produits proposés et présentés en 3 grands buffets ET … ( last but not the least !) LES GENS Toutes les personnes rencontrées ont fait preuve, en toute simplicité , d’une grande gentillesse tout en accomplissant avec rigueur leurs tâches. Des sourires, des attentions , des attitudes : beaucoup de petites choses qui nous ont touchés. Le temps était plus frais que d’habitude et il a même plu. Mais la chaleur humaine compensait largement
