Just had a lovely week at this hotel Location is perfect for walking into town where all the bars and restaurants are. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful We had a room overlooking the pool Huge Comfy bed. Would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday.

I have a visual impairment, I’m blind in one eye, my other eye’s pupil does not change in size going from light to dark making it very difficult in extreme light and dark, plus it has a cataract. My booking was through Tui which described my room as being a twin room with balcony or terrace plus 1 sofa bed etc.. Tui kindly made a medical requirement for a light bright room. I also emailed the hotel to explain my problem which I always do. I received a polite reply saying they would try their best to accommodate me! The room they gave me was absolutely disgusting, it was very dark with just a small window and no outside space. They called it a shared terrace when it was simply a shared walk way. I was informed I had only booked a standard room!!! I told the reservations manager I couldn’t stay there I would have to move. I was asked to give it one night and see how I coped. I politely told him.. tell you what I’ll poke you in the eye so you can’t see, then you tell me how you cope!! I was staying 11 nights.. they also had the cheek to charge me their 5* tourist tax rate an extra €10 a night for that room!! I had been travelling since the early hours coming specifically for Greek Easter which had started. I struggle with fibromyalgia and was in a lot of pain having to wear a neck support. Tired and frustrated I wanted to try and find somewhere else to stay. Reception said they would try and move me but they were fully booked!!! I struggled at breakfast as the tables were too close together, they also have lots of staff walking around getting in the way all the time making it very difficult for me. The levels around the hotel are up and down, steps here, slopes there, cracked tiles around the pool with trip hazards. Sun beds so close together you have to walk close to the pool to get to a bed, again a risk hazard for anyone! Lots of staff standing around doing not a lot, very charming and friendly but not once did any of them walk round the pool and ask if you wanted a drink.. no you had to go to the bar, order and then they would bring it over. I had to leave my door open when I was in my room apart from when I was getting showered and dressed. Nowhere to put my swimming stuff to dry or rinse through some underwear as it was a walkway with just a table and chair outside. I have never stayed in such a bad room in all my travels and I have stayed 5* on many occasions in Greece (check my reviews). I spoke to Tui after a week who informed me the hotel always has spare rooms for emergencies, hey presto I was moved the next day with just 4 days left of my stay there. I was moving to The Troulos Bay Hotel for the remainder of my holiday so booked and paid the hotels transfer.. as I was leaving a lady on reception told me she would miss me, really I don’t think so!! The icing on the cake was the transfer.. wearing my neck brace because I was in pain I had to ask someone staying there to take my cases to the hotels transfer vehicle. The driver jus

Nice clean hotel in good location for restaurants, bars, harbour, shopping, supermarkets and bus stop. Good size pool with comfortable sun beds and tasteful decor in bar/restaurant and poolside area. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Balcony view of mountain from deluxe rooms not so good. Feel that the hotel is focusing too much on items that are unnecessary and letting itself down on the basics. For example thick fluffy robes are not needed in such a warm climate, we didn’t use ours at all. It would make more sense for the hotel to put more emphasis on getting it right with basic items e.g. a proper catering style toaster in breakfast area (my toaster at home is bigger than the ones provided) a food heater that actually works would help in keeping the cooked breakfast items warm, teapots that pour properly without spilling all over the table, and invest in some teaspoons as it’s not environmentally friendly to use disposable stirrers. It would be a far nicer touch to have breakfast tables pre- set with cutlery, cups and saucers and have waiting staff serve coffee/tea directly at the table instead of having to go back and forth carrying hot liquids. A fresh omelette cooking station would also enhance the breakfast experience. Only ate in the restaurant once, but also ate in the restaurants at both sister hotels Black Pepper and Achinos. We thought that the menus at all three restaurants were rather vague in describing what the meals actually consisted of, for example I ordered sea bass and was surprised when served with a bowl of rice in tomato sauce with a couple of tiny pieces of fish within it, yet rice was not mentioned within the description on the menu.

3rd time we have visited this hotel. The last time was just before covid , so 2019 !.. Well I've got to say that this time we were quite disappointed. This is no longer a 5 star hotel as advertised! In our eyes it's no more than a 3 star now. Our "superior "room had flaking paint/plaster behind curtains ! Plug in bathroom sink was broken in as far that the plug plunger was rusted solid and would not work. Place just getting a bit tired in places. Staff were very attentive though. On our last night we booked a meal in the hotel restaurant ( the "Crazy Cow"). It was very busy due to poor weather with constant rain all day. The only booking we could get was for 20.30 hrs. We arrived on time, placed our order and had to wait 45 - 50 minutes for the food to arrive only to be greeted by virtually cold food, well potatoes were hot but my beef and my wife's lamb were cold 🥶. We complained to restaurant manager who was completely embarrassed but powerless to do anything as they were closing the restaurant early due to the poor weather. I saw the hotel owner sitting in the corner whom I called over to explain our problem. Well, I've got to tell you that we were both shocked at his poor attitude and reaction to our complaint! A pathetic apology if you could call it that, and the scuttled of back to sit with his friends. By this time my wife was extremely upset and in tears so we left and went up to our room. After a few minutes had passed, I had still not calmed down, so I went back down and again explained the problem to the hotel owner telling him that my wife was in tears etc. He said sorry again ! What a pathetic spineless man. NEVER AGAIN!!!! Avoid this hotel . There are many better hotels in and around the town. So disappointed 😡😡😡

A beautiful small hotel. I visited with my sister in law last week just to kick back and chill. We stayed in a superior room and the complimentary bottle of wine on arrival was a nice touch we didn't expect. The weather wasn't fabulous all the time but there is plenty in the island to see and do. On sunny days the sunbeds were comfortable and well organised with fresh towels put out on each. The staff are very friendly and ensure you are made to feel welcome and soon know you by name. Particular shout out to Alex and George. We will most certainly visit again.

Christof and his team run the hotel with peaceful efficiency. The hotel is spotless, the superior rooms are quiet & comfortable, and nothing appears too much trouble for his staff (especially George and Maria). A nice touch is a welcome bottle of wine and your suitcases delivered to your room on arrival. We will return.

Had an amazing time at this hotel. The manager Christos and all of the staff go over and above with customer service and friendlyness even showing us to our room and fetching our suitcases for us. The whole hotel and bedrooms are spotless the beds are huge and so comfortable. As are the sun beds the best I have ever experienced. The swimming pool is a good size however a bit cold the first week of May so we will go a little later next time. The breakfast had a good choice whatever you want from cooked to cold or fruit nuts ect. The hotel is a short walk from the main street in Skiathos town and the port where there are so many restaurants to choose from and boat excursions to nearby islands. Skiathos has been on our bucket list for many years now we have done it. The island is stunning and this hotel is amazing thank you to Christos and all his team for a great holiday. It was beautiful and the staff were exceptionally helpful with activities and restaurant recommendations. The food was a little bland and seemed to be catered to a British palette.

Beware - This is not a 4 star hotel! Disappointing stay overall. Problems with water leaks pouring into guest rooms and public areas when we were there in September; insufficient sun beds and umbrellas for the number of guests and those that exist are compacted into an area that ensures you have a close relationship with the person on the adjoining sun bed - whether you want to or not. Cleaning the sun beds daily involved spraying the beds with jets of cold water and hoping they would dry quickly in the sun. They did not. Breakfast was very disappointing - the fruit juices served were not worthy of a 4 star hotel, poor quality food overall, no teaspoons without requesting. Servers at breakfast preferred, and were allowed, to stand around chatting and were surly if asked to do anything. To be fair this contrasted with serving staff in the evening (Crazy Cow Restaurant) at the same location who were excellent as was the food. Please be aware the location and quality of amenities and service at this hotel are not worthy of 4 stars.
