This is a Nice little hotel now called Silver Beach hotel which is better than its reputation. Yes it seems a bit old and worn, but the rooms are nice and big, beds are ok but a bit hard, it is clean and the staff is very nice and there to help you at any time. With a few changes this could be a very nice place as the location is very good. We had three rooms for the last week of July at the end of the heat wave in 2023 but with good ac and a nice pool this was not an issue. And to the hotel, please get a card machine in the bar. You will sell a lot more drinks and food

Je n’ai jamais autant apprécié l’accueil et le personnel dans un hôtel. Si agréable qu’on a envie d’y retourner. Il y a beaucoup de chambre et nous avons apprécié les grands espaces et la vue sur le lac plus que dans le centre ville de Skiathos.

I highly recommend this place! Non-existent cleaning, clogged bathroom with ponds on the floor and continuous smell of sewage. I don't mention which breakfast is better. The only positive note is the proximity to the beach.

Απαράδεκτο δυστυχώς!!! Παρά πολύ παλιό ξενοδοχείο!! Το ψυγείο δεν δούλευε καθόλου!! Το κλιματιστικό υπολειτουργούσε!! Το καθάρισμα απαράδεκτο!! Ύπαρχου ιστοί από αράχνες παντού σε κάθε γωνία και μέσα στα ντουλάπια!! Η τουαλέτα σε άθλια κατάσταση!! Για να ταιριάξεις το χλιαρό νερό σε αυτές τις μπαταρίες σου έσπερνε 20 λεπτά!!! Το πρωινό πολύ φτωχικό με τον πιο άσχημο καφέ που έχω πιει σε όλοι μου τη ζωή δυστυχώς!! Οι πόρτες όλες κάνουν τόσο θόρυβο που εάν χρειαστεί να πας στη τουαλέτα πρέπει να το σκεφτείς σοβαρά γιατί θα ξυπνήσεις τους πάντες!! Τοποθεσία πολύ καλή!!

First impressions were positive. The hotel looked nicer than the photos. It is a traditional, privately owned Greek hotel in a quiet location. Yet only 5 minutes from the beach. Apart from watersports there isn't a lot to do in the area. However the bus to Skiathos stops outside the hotel. This bus runs from early morning to late evening and costs 2 euro. Rooms are simple but clean. Note you pay extra for air conditioning. Breakfast consisted if ham, cheese, eggs, preserves, bread, cakes and pastries and was plentiful. We would recommend the hotels restaurant. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Free WiFi is available in communal areas. Reception was good.
