We are currently staying here and many of the recent reviews reflect our experience. It is not a five star hotel and to be fair. JET2 rate it at four. On the positive side, it is a great location and the cleanliness of the room is pretty good but the table on the balcony and the tea tray are never wiped. On the negative side, there seams to be no organisation in the restaurant. At breakfast you generally have to ask for tea or coffee, rather than being asked. The buffet food is often luke-warm at best. Staff at the resort are polite and efficient but seldom friendly. There is a lack of attention to detail to maintaining the pool area. There is grass growing through the decked area and between the paving slabs. Bird droppings at the side of the pool have been there for the duration of our stay. Food and drink is expensive and the local bars and restaurants are better and cheaper. Managers strut about oblivious of guests and never engage with them. I think they are living on past reputations and have much to improve, particularly from a Service perspective.
