Brilliant hotel and service great food and drink

Excellent service, friendly staff & great food

Absolutely no complaints. Food, cleanliness and service all very good. Only issue would be the room price, however, I think this is more of an Irish economy issue rather than a hotel issue. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent 1st time experience in this hotel, friendly, professional staff in all areas including reception, restaurant, house keeping. Lovely room, cotton sheets, great in room amenities, nice common area on the 2nd floor. Separate shower and bath in ensuite. Overall I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

We stayed at this hotel a Saturday night. It was easy to find and had a large carpark. Check in took ages, because we stood waiting whilst the receptionist was helping another guest log on to the wifi on his iPad, as he was having technical difficulties. She didn’t acknowledge us or apologise for the wait. She was the only one on and there was a queue. The rooms was big with a huge comfy bed. There was a hairdryer, large tv and tea/coffee/kettle. The bathroom had a bath and separate shower cubicle. Toiletries were provided. The big problem we had was noise! The doors were bit very soundproof and when people walked past our room it was noisy. There was a birthday party on the night we stayed and all the way past midnight there were children running down the corridor shouting! There kept running the whole corridor, up & down the stairs and out into the garden. We were going to complain to reception but we were so tired because it was late. Also the kids had to run past reception, so the receptionist would have seen! We had about 2 hours sleep and the noise completely ruined our stay. We were exhausted for our flight the next day. The breakfast was good and the hotel is about 20 minutes drive from Knock airport, so there were positives. We mentioned the noise to the receptionist when we checked out. He said we should have contacted the night Porter. But actually the staff would definitely have heard the noise and seen the children running through reception, yet nothing was done. We’d be reluctant to stay here again just in case there was another event on and we got no sleep. Definitely worst night we had on our Ireland trip.

Set in quiet parkland on the edge of the village this beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean hotel is a great base for exploring the West of Ireland, Knock ,Westport ,Croagh Patick etc Fantastic food ,friendly helpful staff and beds so comfy you want to take them home .Will be back

We were very impressed and happy with everything in this hotel, lovely staff very nice food , room and bed was very comfortable,the only thing was missing was water in the room I thought this was standard in all hotels but it didn’t take away from our enjoyment of our stay, we hope to stay again .
