We arrived late in the evening and was greeted by the night reception. There are many ample parking and we entered from the back of the hotel. The hotel is huge and fronting a river. Our room is facing the river and we discovered an amazing view from the balcony of our room. Although the hotel is outdated but it is clean and comfortable. The hotel location is a good 40min drive south of Ottawa Premium outlet and a good stop over for Toronto destination.

The facilities are old and the air conditioner is loud. The location is OK, but parking is good. It is a 10-minute drive from the waterfall. It is okay if you pay attention temporarily.

Hotel room was very unsanitary. Used Kleenex and garbage found around the bed. Sunday morning we woke up with strange bug bites. Upon further inspection the bed had signs of bed bugs. There was also bodily fluid stains on the mattress, mattress topper and sheets. Bed were just disgusting. When we approached the manger at check out to discuss our concerns they were very dismissive, acting like they had no idea what we were talking about. Manager said they would get someone in to check the room and follow up. We were expecting the hotel to be a little dated but not unclean. Extremely disappointed. If I read reviews before we would not have booked. Who doesn’t want to come home from a weekend away to do full bedbug protocol.

Beyond rundown. Carpets all buckled from water damage, toilet wasn't turned on then it ran when it was, bathroom door all busted up. Breakfast was awful. Definitely not worth $144. $44 maybe but that's debatable.

This hotel needs some major work. Very chaotic parking lot with no lines and people parked all over. The hotel is dated and needs repairs, holes in the walls in our bathroom, the heater was broken and there was a huge draft of cold air from the window. The TV didn't work, but could tell the cleaners tried to make the room tidy. I kept expecting the twins from the shining to appear down the hallway. The only slightly nice thing was the view of the Rideau Canal.
