The hotel has a great location in the centre of the city and is great for tourism. Great food in the restaurant for breakfast and throughout the day. Staff in the restaurant and hotel were friendly and helpful. Nice stay for six nights.

Excellent spa and location in the middle of everywhere..no swimming pool is a minus

Best hotel to stay at in Sofia

Location was very good, esp close to the St Alexander Nevsky Cathedral where is the main tour operator gathering points is. The room and the breakfast buffet was great

Top hotel. In my opinion best in Sofia. Fine dining near hotel, friendly place and top concierges. A shout out to Nikolai nedyalkov who found me a barber at 7.30 pm as I was really short on time and too busy. Thanks. My fav stay at Sofia

The service was very good, and we upgraded to a mountain view king room. The view was very good, you can see the mountain and the sunset. The sun was very bright, the bedding was very comfortable for sleeping. All in all, it was a very good accommodation experience.

The room is in a very good location, with a square and a church outside. Almost all attractions can be reached on foot. The hotel service is very good. Desserts were delivered upon check-in, although they were too sweet for me. The room is spacious, well-equipped, and the breakfast is rich in variety, which is very good.

This is a hotel that is not worth recommending. I have stayed here several times. I used to book it on IHG's official website. This time I booked a Suite with a view of the Cathedral through Ctrip. I arrived at the hotel at 12 o'clock. Because I was too tired, the hotel said that the room was still being cleaned. At the suggestion of the front desk, I could only pay one more day's room rate to arrange a temporary small room to rest until 3 o'clock. Then when I was given the room at 3 o'clock, I found that there was no terrace. After many communications, there was no result. My local friend is a councilor. He went to the front desk to ask and found out that my room was given to a councilor in Sofia, so the hotel kept making all kinds of fraudulent excuses. Finally, I coordinated to a temporary glass room, which was called a suite. The floor was shaky and I could only take the freight elevator to go up! Ctrip helped to communicate several times, but the hotel manager is a liar full of lies. Sofia Intercontinental should be ashamed!
