Me and my husband stayed there for 3 nights. Lots of dust in the room, like no one cleaned areas at the head of the bed for years. The same situation is in the bathroom, broken drain plug in the bathroom tub, mold, rusty stains. We had great expectations regarding this hotel. We do not recommend it. Three stars are for the friendly English speaking staff, delicious breakfast and central location of the hotel.

I stayed here with my wife and two kids for two nights at the end of September, 2022. Very modern, bright, spotless, and comfortable property in the middle of it all in Sofia. Flawless experience- everything during our stay was perfect. Extremely polite and knowledgeable staff and great food selection for the room service- one afternoon, I took the kids out and my wife literally spent the entire time vegging out in the room. This hotel is up to the highest European standards, at a fraction of the cost of what you would pay for a similar property in Paris or London. Truly enjoyable experience- I wish we had more time to spend there!

Overall very beautiful structure, works of art everywhere, a feast for the eyes, the spacious rooms, but alas a bit dirty, exceptional breakfast with many choices, both sweet and savoury. A flaw in my opinion is the internal temperature of the structure, but above all of the rooms which, even with the climate on 13 °, could not get cold.

A superb and very stylish option, centrally located in a smart neighbourhood. The staff are exceptionally friendly and very helpful. The room was superb, though there seemed to be a bit of an issue with the plumbing…a bit of an unpleasant odour. Housekeeping came daily and were very thorough and there’s a room turndown, not something you see everywhere these days. The rooftop bar is very popular so do book, even as a guest of the hotel. The cocktails are very good, the menu is merely a guide: if you have a favourite, ask for it, they may well be able to make it for you. I also had a massage at the spa. First class!

Their warm and accommodating nature made me feel like a valued guest throughout my stay. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the spacious and beautifully decorated room. The tasteful decor, plush furnishings, and meticulously chosen artwork created an atmosphere of elegance and comfort that exceeded my expectations. Additionally, the room service at Grand Hotel Sofia was exceptional, offering a delectable menu of dishes that surpassed my expectations. Each meal was flawlessly prepared and delivered promptly, further enhancing the overall experience. Grand Hotel Sofia provided an outstanding stay with a dedicated staff, remarkable room decor, and exceptional room service. I highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable experience in Sofia.

The hotel is clean and comfortable, the security work is better, the front desk staff is very patient, the room is clean and tidy, and the environment is very nice. I look forward to seeing it again next time!

When we arrived to park at the hotel we were expected to know where to park and where to go so this made the first 15 minutes unbearable. We were told on many occasions not here. Please provide positive directions in future. The hotel itself after the poor beginning was excellent. The room was clean and serviceable with a good fridge. Although my wife found the bed and pillows uncomfortable I did not. Breakfast had a good selection and the dining area was roomy. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE someone teach the chef to fry an egg. No matter your preference whether it be over easy, flipped or hard yolk all eggs had a fantastic burnt plastic skirt. TIP use the right kind of oil, don't turn the heat up so high, have the oil warm before the egg goes in, and don't use freezing cold eggs. The hotel organised Taxi's for us and these were excellent.

Very late arrival time checkin service staff is very good Can help call the car, the room is comfortable and clean, the bed is very comfortable, the whole is bright and clean, there is a balcony, the breakfast restaurant is good.

Because of the meeting, the price has skyrocketed many times, but it is really convenient to go to the opposite side for a meeting. It is a good hotel under the local economic conditions. It is very convenient for the front desk to help you rent out. The automatic currency converter exchange rate is very high.
