"Cheap and cheerful. Has the basics. Is fairly clean. Location was perfect for me. Right outside the only mosque in Sofia. Now the negatives. Bathroom light was very dim. Could do with changing. No closing door on shower cubical.. only half doors. So you will wet the bathroom floor. There was no window in my room. It wasn't something I thought about, but only realising this when I get in the room. So if it's something important.. maybe check if your room has a window."

"Even though I only stayed for a few hours to get some sleep, this was the hotel with the best-smelling bed sheets I’ve experienced so far. It really left a great impression on me. The only issue was waiting a bit too long during check-out. But I would definitely choose this hotel again."

"Positives: Great location. Minutes to Serdica, Lion’s Bridge metro stations and easy access to public buses, shops and eateries. Room was spacious and clean. Negatives: the door to enter the room is hard to open from inside- u need to step into the bathroom in order for the door to open wide. The area outside the room is not soundproof so the noise when people talk (in my case, kids talking and crying) is very loud and clearly heard."

"Really happy with our stay here - the location is good with everything in walking distance but nice and quiet in the area. Our room was large and well-equipped, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Would happily stay here again, especially for the price"

"Nice clean standard Ibis Hotel. Airport shuttle available every 20 minutes, very convenient service; 5-8 minutes drive. Two minors issues with the room; external bathroom door knob was missing and some water leaks under the sink. The housekeeping should observe such small details and act accordingly. Comdortable bed, good aircon. Some teabags and coffee should be made available in-room for guests. Restaurant's prices are a little high ~20€ for a good and decent hamburger. Breakfast buffet ok. Reception, restaurant and shuttle's staff were all friendly and responsive. In all a good and very decent no frills airport hotel."

"Overall cleanliness of the whole property is ok as the cleaner did her best from what I saw, but unluckily my bed was not as clean as I expected. Hope the color on my bed cover and pillow was stain not dirt (see pictures). Also when I wanted to extend my stay for the next day and came down to receptionist, he said he had finished his shift and asked me to come back in the morning, while his shift was actually not finished yet (there is a written information what time reception is supposed to close). Other than those two issues, it was a great stay, kitchen is spacious with stoves, sink, fridge, table and chairs, living room."

"I stayed here four nights and thoroughly enjoyed my stay! The hotel is an older, classy, clean, establishment with spacious rooms, a wonderful breakfast buffet with numerous choices, as well as coffee’s, cappuccino, espresso. The staff were all very friendly and professional. The shower had the best water pressure of any hotel I’ve been in. It is perfectly situated with local shopping, restaurants, and the numerous top sites of Sofia within walking distance. It is absolutely a great value for the service they provide. My thanks to the staff for a wonderful four-day day here and beautiful Sofia, Bulgaria."

"Hotel is next to metro 2 central train station and is quite good if you can navigate the metro, line The breakfast is the same everyday but staff are good and complimentary coffee in reception. On my visit very quiet this time of year in Sofia but I enjoyed Sofia No restaurant nearby have to go into city . There are shops nearby about 1/2 km away but it’s ok and safe Night time few doggy characters around this part of town but avoid them 24 hr reception was helpful and warm Just if you come in late grab some food for your room as nothing to eat around"
