Hotels Near Balhae Historical Museum in Sokcho-si

I wanted to see a nice view on the way, so I chose the Ulsan Rock View. I didn't know much about it because I arrived at night, but when I woke up in the morning and opened the curtains, there was a beautiful snowy mountain spread out in front of me. Ocean Play tickets for two adults were included, so I purchased tickets for two children separately the day before from Naver for 23,900 won. When taking children, bring water play equipment such as tubes and water guns. It's a bit expensive if you buy it separately. And there is only one BBQ restaurant inside Ocean Play. The chicken chunks were a bit big so the kids couldn't eat them. When I went this time, I enjoyed Hwacheon Sancheoneo fishing and ice sledding on the first day, and on the third day of Ocean Play the next day, I had a boat fishing experience in Jangsa Temple. In the eyes of adults, there was nothing about Ocean Play, but the children thought Ocean Play was the best. It was incredibly tiring but it was a good trip. I think it's called Ocean Play because it allows you to play in the water while seeing the ocean in the distance. Since we only played indoors, the view of the sea through the glass was cloudy due to a lot of dust on the glass, so it wasn't great.

Hotel prices are prohibitively expensive on weekends, but I had a comfortable trip thanks to the clean hotel at a good price. I used it for the ocean view, and I could see the Sokcho Lighthouse, and the bedding was clean, so I had a comfortable rest. It’s a good hotel.~

I booked an ocean view, but I was assigned to the 3rd floor, so it was almost like a road view? ㅋㅋ I could see the ocean, but I think it would be better to be assigned to a higher floor. The facilities were very clean, and I was surprised to see that the living room table and dining table were Livart products!!! It was good for a one-night stay for the price~~

The service of the hotel is very good. Although it is not big, it is enough for two people. It has everything you need and you can store your luggage. There is a GS25 downstairs which is very convenient. It is not far from the bus station and Daiso and Emart are nearby.

The location is easy to locate, front of the beach. There is a bus stop nearby, convenience store downstairs and close to many resturants. The room is like a home, complete amenities. The only problem was the tv, their tv's sound is weak, my ipad's sound is louder

It's the day I write a review~!!!!! I wanted to meet the manager and say hello, but in March, I had to cancel on the same day at Agoda, but Agoda said it was not allowed due to policy, so I almost lost 150,000 won... I was really, really upset, but fortunately Sokcho I-Park processed a refund, so I was sorry for no reason. Still, I remember feeling good about it~!!!! Then, in April, I went to the big room with my brother's family and had a really delicious breakfast~!! This May, I went on a trip with my boyfriend and had a great time. There is a lot of talk about the elevator problem, but I understand the situation of the hotel as I go to the busy area around Sokcho... I think there is nothing I can do and if I go to Sokcho, I will always use it~!!! I also preached to people in Jeji through Sokcho I-Park~!! I really don't want to brag about this place, but it's very clean for the price, the refrigerator is big, the bed is clean, the view is good, and the biggest advantage is that the bathroom is as good as a Shilla Hotel~!!!! TMI, you must eat breakfast~!!!! I highly recommend the bibimbap ㅠㅠ!!!!!! Use the red pepper paste seasoning ㅠㅠ The staff are all very friendly, and sometimes the customers are not abusive... but abusive... It makes me frown... It's an extreme job... ㅠㅠ I can't believe it. It was long. I have only good memories of the I-Park Suites and Very Berry Suites Hotel~!!!!!!! After summer is over, I will go and visit again in the fall. Be happy and stay healthy haha. FINAL VERDICT: Family oriented resort that has everything needed for a family vacation. 3 Line summary - The property is located on a scenic coastside hill, offering views of the East Sea, Seorak National Park, and Sokcho city downtown is a 10 minute drive. Resort is constructed to offer panoramic vistas to guests directly from their room window & balcony. - Resort has everything needed for a familiy retreat. They have a large indoor water park(Sokcho Water Park), 5+ restaurants including one that you can do K-BBQ(Natural Soul Kitchen), large and fun kid’s cafe (Lala Kids Adventure), direct access to East Sea coast and the best Korean seafood shops are within uber delivery distance. They even have a mini golf place. - Lotte Resort Sokcho also offers various family oriented programs that I recommend you check out. We chartered a catamaran yatch and cruised the East Sea, went to a local strawberry farm and harvested a couple baskets, tried Lotte’s cookie house making program which are all available through the resort. WHEN: May 2023 WHO: Family of 3, including a 17 month old daughter WHAT ROOM: Character Suite Room We visited the Lotte Resort Sokcho as a family retreat in May with our 17 month old daughter. The Resort was our top choice because it had all the facilities that one would want one visiting a beach coast resort, and at the same time very family friendly as they provided baby amenities such as baby food, bed, moisturizer etc. We stayed at the Character Suite room, which is a spacious room that features a Lotte themed slide, hide&seek spots and children’s restroom. Our daughter had so much fun in the room - she rode the slide a gazillion times and played hide and seek with us. My wife liked the fact that the room had a good combination of contemporary designs and playful childrens’ furniture, all with safety in mind. Stay at the Lotte Resort was also memorable as we took advantage of the many facilities. On the first day, we went to the indoor Water Park which offered wave riding, a large lazy river, water slides of all sizes and a jacuzzi for relaxing. We headed to the BBQ restaurant (Natural Soul Kitchen) at dinner to charge up and had some fun cooking lobster, beef, pork and lamb racks. The restaurant also offered many Korean dishes that goes well with the BBQ we had ample choice. After a good rest in our beach view room, we headed up to R.9PUP, a pub on the 9th floor as the name suggests. The pub offers a wide range of Korean local brewery at a scenic view of the coastal beach. It was even better as the pub had a family friendly atmosphere where the young ones are invited to play the dart and chill on the bean bags on the terrace. All in all, this is a great one-stop resort that offers great view, nature, variety of dining options, all at the same time running large scale facilities such as the Sokcho Water Park. I definitely look forward to visiting again and with comfortably recommend to families looking for a good time toget

It feels more like a resident hotel than a 5 star hotel. I have experienced many 5-star hotels overseas. Compared to the price, the amenities in the accommodation are very poor. There is no minibar at all. All 4 bottled water There is no conditioner or toothbrush and toothpaste set in the bathroom. There is only one bathtub in the living room The exterior of the hotel makes you feel like you are in the United Arab Emirates. The hotel is nice!

The hotel is in a very strategic location, beside Daepo Port. However, please do not book through Trip.com. I could have gotten a better price from Agoda… so disappointed that I overpaid for this hotel
