Es un hotel maravilloso y lo mejor es el trato de su gente, muy especia de la señorita Dafne, Estefany, Rodrigo, Joe y Ana en el Prestige. Los restaurantes son exquisitos y muy variados, ahí nos trataron excelente, en el Rancho. El señor Francisco, Angel y Miguel. Finísima atención, muy limpios y dedicados. Y la alberca de olas nos encantó para los niños, también los toboganes y el Star Camp, súper profesionales. Recomiendo todo

My family and I have stayed at this resort before and loved it. That being said, it has gone down hill to the point that we will never stay there again. The food was so horrendous that we actually lost weight while there. The drinks were all made from different mixes, which made them all cheap and crappy. Unlike our last stay the rooms were void of any snacks. We were a party of sixteen so our concierge went out of his way to make dinner reservations so we could all sit together. When we went to the French Restaurant and the Seafood Restaurant they refused to sit us together despite there being plenty of room to do so. We ate at the Japanese Restaurant and they did sit us together, but my son-in-law had a migraine and decided not to join us. When we were seated he decided he was up to joining us but the restaurant refused to seat him. As the chef was plating food for sixteen I told my daughter to take a plate of food back to her room for her husband. When she tried to walk out of the restaurant the hostess made a big scene, blocking my daughter from exiting. We also ate at the Steakhouse. All I will say is I question whether the steak came from actual cows. Same with the Mexican Restaurant but at least we laughed about how awful it was. If you insist on staying in the Iberostar complex stay at one of the less expensive resorts because this one was a COMPLETE waste of money.

Wunderschöne Anlage, üppiges Grün, Tiere, tolle Pool-Landschaften, Poolbars top, Service generell nicht sehr gut, aber ok. Große Auswahl beim Essen. Essen sehr gut. Grandioses Entertainment! Generell empfehlenswert! Aber folgende Defizite erlebt: Beim Check-In haben wir nach einem Zimmer im Ground Floor gefragt, weil wir mit zwei Kleinkinder und Kinderwagen angereist sind. Leider war keines frei. Wir bekamen ein Zimmer im zweiten Stock. Wär für uns kein Problem gewesen, aber in dem Gebäude war der Lift kaputt. Deswegen mussten wir ca. 4x täglich die Kinder und Kinderwagen in den zweiten Stock wuchten. Das war eine Schlepperei!!!!! Ärgerlich in einem 5 Sterne Hotel. Nach Beschwerde unsererseits wurde uns ein Zimmer im Ground Floor 3 Tage nach Check-In angeboten. Da der Aufwand mit Wiedereinpacken, Umsiedeln aber doch zu groß und zeitwaufwändig erschien, und das 3 Tage vor Abreise, entschlossen wir die Schlepperei doch in Kauf zu nehmen. Obwohl es mich ständig geärgert hat, vor allem wenn die Kinder abends im Kinderwagen bereits eingeschlafen waren. Dann mussten wir noch dazu abteilig schleppen. Eines nach dem anderen rauf tragen und dann noch den Kinderwagen. Ein weiterer Minus-Punkt war, dass wir das Hotel aufgrund des Piraten-Schiffs (Wasservergnügung für kleinere Kinder) und aufgrund der Rutschen gebucht hatten. Damit die Kinder eine Freude haben. Wir sind am 04.05. angereist. Leider war die Piraten-Wasserwelt bei unserer Ankunft aufgrund von Renovierungsarbeiten gesperrt. Bei unserer Buchung im Februar 2024 war davon nichts zu lesen. Auf der Homepage stand dann am 04.05., dass die Piratenwelt am nächsten Tag, also am 05.05. wieder öffnen würde. Wir hatten uns gefreut. Also nur einen Tag für uns kein Zugang. Tatsächlich öffnete die Piraten-Wasserwelt dann aber erst am 08.05. Also 4 Tage nach unserer Anreise. Obwohl die der Hauptgrund der Buchung war. Leider mussten wir dann auch zusätzlich erfahren, dass wir die übrigen Rutschen des Resorts nicht benützen durften, da unsere Söhne noch zu klein waren. Mindestgröße bei den Rutschen 1,20 m. Das steht ganz kleingedruckt auf der Homepage. Nicht einmal zu zweit, also mit uns Eltern durften sie rutschen. Und am Tag der Öffnung der Piratenwelt am 08.05. kam es dann noch besser. Wir waren ers**als mit den Kindern dort für ca. 1h und dann brach eine Rutsche zusammen bzw. krachte runter. Eine Amerikanerin saß noch drinnen in der Rutsche. Zum Glück ist nichts passiert. Keiner hatte sich verletzt. Und was war? Die Piraten-Welt wurde umgehen wieder gesperrt, noch am selben Tag der Öffnung. Ich war verärgert. Der Grund, warum die Piratenwelt erst so spät öffnen würde, als geplant bzw als auf der Homepage angegeben, sagte man uns, wäre die Sicherheit. Alles müsse gecheckt sein und sicher. Darum die Verspätung. Und wir müssten Verständnis dafür haben. Also da wär's besser gewesen, sie hätten gar nicht aufgesperrt. Wir waren enttäuscht deswegen. At the El Rancho, our servers Josue and Irving were the best servers we have ever had. Great service and great food. The steak was cooked exactly how we all asked which is rare for a steakhouse. He even gave us complimentary wine since we made so much small talk with him!

We just returned. The place WOWed us as we arrived from registration to the rooms. And then as the week progressed, the disappoin**ents occurred. First of all, while you are told there are 20 restaurants, we were only offered THREE to eat at (and yes we made our reservations the moment we arrived at registration for the entire week and they still only offered us 3 restaurants). The last night and lunch, the main buffet was closed (sign outside saying closed for the next 2 dinners - did NOT say closed for lunch too - which it was. So it was only open for breakfast). The nutty part was the sign did NOT tell you where another buffet was located and neither did the app. Now we had to go to the lobby (no where near the buffet) to find another buffet which we found out was a ways away on technically one of their other Iberostars on the same property. The resort is horrible at communicating with clients. All of this information could have been told to us in advance. If you are going to shut down the main buffet, let people know another option (and/or tell them at the previous meals so they know what to expect). We also never received our $600 in coupons we were promised. Never offered to us when we arrived. Lastly, I don't mind a huge spacious place (which this place is). However, have CLEAR SIGNAGE at where specific restaurants are. They just had signs that said, "Restaurants" and not which ones. You could walk forever just tried to find a specific restaurant. This place has so many wonderful qualities that is was sad how poor their communication was.

Es un gran hotel, desde los detalles como el olor y la limpieza, hasta instalaciones que se perciben como nuevas. Mi opinión la dividiré en los principales temas a considerar, en el primero agregaré el único punto malo en todo el hotel; SU PERSONAL: —EL PERSONAL: Notamos que al personal le encanta hablar y jugar entre ellos a pesar que haya huéspedes, por ejemplo: llegamos al Starcafé del lobby de Kukulkán, esperamos entre 20-30 minutos a que alguien nos atendiera ya qué estaba sola la cafetería, llegó personal de limpieza y entre ellos hablaron aproximadamente 10 minutos hasta que pregunté quien nos podría atender y llamó a quien atendía, ¡LA CUAL ESTABA PLATICANDO CON EL BARTENDER DEL BAR DEL LOBBY DE KUKULKÁN! También notamos que se molestan si no entendemos a la primera lo que nos dicen, y que son amantes de estar en el celular a pesar de que estén con huéspedes. Es este el resort en el que me he hospedado con PEOR personal, pero sería injusto encasillar a todos, quienes SÍ han sido realmente amables son los guardias de la entrada al resort, los meseros de los restaurantes han sido muy amables y a quienes no conocí en persona pero sí su trabajo son quienes hacen el aseo de las habitaciones, nuestra habitación siempre la dejaron impecable. Ahora todo lo demás, que todo lo demás ha sido realmente bueno. —RESTAURANTES: hay gran variedad y para todo tipo de gustos, y lo mejor es que en casi ninguno te piden reserva. —APP DEL HOTEL: la app del hotel ha sido de gran ayuda incluso desde antes de llegar al hotel. Ha hecho la estadía, más cómoda. —TRANSPORTE DENTRO DEL HOTEL: es un hotel muy grande, y es increíble que dentro de este, haya una red de transporte e incluso puedas rastrear cuanto tarda en llegar el siguiente carrito —ÁREAS COMUNES: existen áreas para toda la familia, desde el Niño, hasta el anciano, desde a quien le gusta realizar actividades, hasta a quien le gusta sent****. Hay hasta un centro comercial que es apto para toda la familia. —LA HABITACIÓN: la mejor habitación en la cual me he hospedado, la vista ha sido lo mejor, rodeado de vegetación y poder ver a los animales en libertad buscando comida y realizando su vida como si yo no estuviera ahí. Además de moderna y un gran balcón. —LOS DETALLES: pequeños grandes detalles, como el olor del lobby, a lo largo del hotel no hay áreas con espacio perdido, pero tampoco espacio saturado, hay esculturas, pasillos, que te hacen el camino más agradable. —LO MÁS AGRADABLE: estar rodeado de la naturaleza, un hotel que atiende el bienestar ambiental y que incluso te educa en cuáles son los árboles que miras y una breve información sobre los animales que están en el hotel. Este hotel es excelente para descansar, para estar con la naturaleza, pero también para hacer muchas actividades y tener grandes restaurantes, piscinas y habitaciones

We've been to a number of different hotels in Riviera Maya. Iberostar is by far our favorite. Nice, clean beach; spacious rooms; friendly staff; great scuba dive shop. Food is amazing and servers at the restaurant are the best. Especially Francisco and his team over at El Rancho. We're definitely going back.

We loved our time in Mexico! We received excellent service everywhere we went. Especially from Irving at El Rancho. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The entertainment staff was all so great too. The staff made us feel welcomed. Cleaning staff and maid service always had our room clean and ready for the day.

The table side, Caesar salad and the prime rib table side was amazing. Delicious perfectly cooked. Irving our server was wonderful! Delicious food all around. This restaurant restaurant is located at the Maya restaurant at the Iberostar complex.
