My fiance and I stayed 2 nights at this inn and stayed in room 24. We had the king size room, upstairs. Pros - large space(ridiculously large space!!), fireplace, seating table, microwave, fridge, TV, comfortable bed, quiet area, 6 minutes drive to the ******, great customer service, shower heat and pressure were great, walking distance to bookstore/food places, food delivery options, swamp cooler got really cold (no central air), phone service worked great Cons - no fan in the bathroom, the fire in the fireplace was partially lit the entire time (it stayed on throughout the night and you couldn't turn it off all the way), not modern but reminded me of my grandparents house, positioning of the TV vs the bed was super weird and hard to see the TV, small water leak from the shower, no soap/shampoo in the shower. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Maybe every hotel in Solvang is like this...but this place felt like a trip back to the 1970s. I am hoping there are better nearby options.
