Best homestay we did in Vietnam! Arrived, saw the breath taking view to the river and immediately decided to stay one night longer. The people here are so friendly and will help you with anything! They provided transfers for as to and from Dong Hoi. They booked a tour for us (the jungle trekking with visits to Golden Cave and E-Cave, which was nice but definitely not for the faint of hearted :D) and even did our laundry (two times because our clothes were very dirty from hiking through the jungle). The rooms are very clean and have everything you need. They are also spacious. We especially enjoyed the riverfront room, because we had a balcony overlooking the river. You can also swim in the river directly from the homestay, which was a big bonus for us! For breakfast they have some meals and drinks, and you can choose one of each. We tried several during our stay and they were all delicious. Location is also very good. You have a lot of nice restaurants and bars in walking distance, or you can just choose to drink and eat at the homestay. It was a lovely experience for us. So affordable and amazing what you get for the price. 10/10, definitely recommend!

People who work here are just just angels! So helpful. All the pick ups, tours were done by them. It was so easy! The view of the restaurant is stunning and the food is super tasty too. Huen and Shan were the best hosts. Could not ask for more. Recommend 💯

The room was the cleanest on our entire trip! The smell of fresh lemon, water bottles in the room and clean white sheets were amazing! The views onto the river were stunning and the owner and his wife made everything to make our trip a great experience! Breakfast in the deck was beautiful and always served fresh from the kitchen. Definitely highly recommend Coco House!

We had the best stay at Coco House Homestay, we were made to feel so welcome and couldn’t have asked for more. The staff were very helpful advising us with tours and buses. They accommodated us with a last minute room, late check out while we waited for our night bus.

Clean and comfortable room with a beautiful view from the terrace. Very good location - close to town centre, but sufficiently remote to be peaceful and quiet. Helpful and friendly host. It's worth paying extra for the room with private terrace. We would be happy to come back.

I am thoroughly impressed not only with this property, but the amazing young family that own it. They are very kind and accommodating, and quite friendly without being invasive. The husband was able to book everything I needed without any issues, and I never felt pressured to do anything. The rooms and common areas are impeccably clean, and the location along the river is idyllic. You can rent SUP's or he can arrange a kayak rental as well. It is in a prime location, since it is only a short walk to the main road, or a short walk down the street to try other, less visited riverside eateries. I would highly recommend staying here, especially as a relaxing way to recover from any caving excursions (my laundry was done promptly and efficiently). Thank you so much for making my stay here unforgettable!

My partner and I LOVED this place. The family took care of us so well, picking us up from the airport, feeding us late night when we came in and feeding us early in the morning. The room was clean and had a fantastic view of the river and land formations. They went as far as giving us cash out of their wallet and letting us charge it to the room. Such an accommodating and caring family. I would recommend this place to anyone. thank you coco river stay!
