Songkhla Bo Yang Hotels

I stayed at their most basic Standard Single and it was still a pretty nice room with a comfortable queen size bed in a nice contemporary design room. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly although the outside of the hotel does look slightly dated. The location is good for Songkhla - probably a 5 minute drive from all the main attractions - Samila Beach, Tangkuan Hill or Old Town Songkhla. Breakfast is ok - not too many choices but does have good mix of Asian and Western Items. Food is tasty and after breakfast, the restaurant becomes an ala-carte outlet. Food is ok but slightly pricier than outside but you pay for convenience. Parking is at the back of the hotel and is secured so dont have to worry about curb side parking.

We stayed here for 1 night, the service staff gave good advice. There are 3 swimming pools. 1. Children's water park. Let outsiders play, buy a ticket 150 baht, do not play, pay 20 baht entrance fee 2. Pool next to the water park for outsiders to play. 3. The pool above for customers who stay at the hotel Breakfast is served as a set in the room with a menu to choose when checking in. There is a koi pond for the children to enjoy watching and tired of going down to take a walk in front of the beach.

A truly tranquil hostel in the midst of Songkhla. If you're searching for a place to truly relax, discover yourself and search your soul, look no further. My gentle longings for love, life and adventure were rekindled in this magical place. It is a place for soul searching and self re-discovery. The owner is full of humility and grace. He reminds me of a long lost uncle of sorts. Full of wisdom, and colorful life experience. An architect by trade, he structured the Hostel to feel like a serene, meditative home-away-from-home. After staying for more than 10 days, I've fallen in love with the atmosphere of Songkhla, the small town vibes, and this hostel.

This hotel is new, and has clean facilities, but, as per other reviewers, the management and reception (particularly for non-thais) is horrific. I had the same problem as others when I asked for a second keycard. They refused unless I paid an exorbitant fee, in addition to the massive damage deposit they require, and the additional first keycard deposit they require. The staff stopped assisting me several times to assist thai guests, making every interaction 4 to 5 times longer than necessary. This felt discriminatory and rude. When I asked to speak with management about several issues, I was told they were either not there or that they were not available--staff refused to call them on the phone ir give me a phone number to call. I gave my mobile number and was never called. I was scheduled to stay for 10 nights, but left after one. This place sucks and there are better options around the corner. My advice, stay away! Additionally--room beds are rock hard, water in showers is not hot, and the glasses in the room are literally the size of a double shot glass. Ridiculous.

Excellent, friendly, service-mind and flexible staff. Located on a great location. Very nice and quiet. Great distance for a morning jogging or walk to and from a mermaid. Good food with reasonable price. Clean room. Unfortunately this place need some extra ramp or some step less for a wheelchair user. Such as an important areas: Main hotel building, villa, restaurant and reception.

Post pandemic shackles off, wanted to try more hidden corners of Thailand, so came to Songkhla, an hour east of Hat Yai airport, to see the old town, an area with plenty of history and charm. Over the last few years, tiny cafes, galleries, and shops have opened, but town is not yet gentrified. Boutique hotel Baan Nai Nakhon is in the middle of all of this, decorated with a mix of quirky timeworn furniture and ceramics, and handmade mosaics by the laid-back & multi-lingual owner Danny, that used to fly for Thai Air. The hotel staff is very kind, the service and reception are excellent! Made our trip to Songkhla very comfortable and perfect. The room space is comfortable and the environment is well-ventilated. Breakfast was served in the rooftop restaurant, with a great view and great food, overlooking the lake. It's a pity that the bathroom space in the room is relatively small, but it doesn't hinder the overall praise!
