Amazing location If you're planning to visit Amalfi coast & pochitano with great services like renting bike or boat trip.

We had a great stay. The view, room, facilities were wonderful. The hotel staff were very supportive. They really helped us out in sorting out some local logistics.

We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for 2 nights in September - there were 3 couples all from Canada. We had a great time, decent breakfast with a variety, it's a nice touch that they have a shuttle to take you into town that is complimentary, rooms were basic but clean, was impressed with the staff that we had the pleasure of meeting, from the front desk, the housekeeping staff along with the restaurant staff. The only thing I wasn't too impressed with was that for the pool you had to pay for the towels as well as the pool closed so early. It should of stayed open a bit longer that was a bit of a disappointment.

Despite some of the negative reviews we read before we came the hotel is perfect for exploring the Amalfi coast. It is right by the Bagni Regina Ginovia which is a very popular tourist spot and there is a little shop opposite with the most delicious sandwiches which are very reasonably priced. It is located a little out of the town but there is a free shuttle bus which takes you in and picks you up. We used this a lot when we stayed. There is also a bus stop right next to the hotel which you can get if the free shuttle times don't suit you. Tickets only cost €1.50 from the shop across the road. The staff are so helpful and friendly, the rooms are well appointed if a little tired, there is a safe and a little fridge in the room and the air con is a welcome relief from the heat in the summer. The food for breakfast and dinner was delicious. There is a pool which has a pool bar and there are plenty of sun beds which you do not have to reserve at all. We went to the pool at several different times and there were always plenty of sun beds to choose from. We loved staying here and whilst the hotel may look a bit shabby it is one of friendliest hotels we have stayed at and we will book again.

"This hotel is extremely disgusting, with a terrible odor, and the staff, especially the receptionists, are very disappointing. They are arrogant and only interested in taking your money without providing any value. It’s simply not worth the cost. The rooms either have a bad smell, are noisy, or the air conditioning is broken, and the breakfast is very sparse. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

**Avoid this hotel by any means.** Our experience was highly disappointing due to several issues: 1. **Uncooperative Staff:** The staff was extremely uncooperative and unwilling to assist with any of our needs. 2. **Unpleasant Odor:** The entire hotel had a pervasive smell of mold and vinegar. The odor in our room was so strong that it lingered on our clothes even after we left. 3. **Room Allocation:** Although we were two couples who booked the holiday together, we were given rooms in two separate buildings, which was inconvenient. 4. **Poor Breakfast:** The breakfast consisted solely of frozen food, which was quite unappetizing. 5. **Air Conditioning:** The air conditioning did not work for the last two days of our stay, making it very uncomfortable. The only positive aspect of this hotel is its location, which is conveniently close to the bus station. However, this alone does not compensate for the numerous issues we encountered.

Absolutely hated this hotel! Not worth the money or time spent getting there. We have been travelling around Europe for 2 months and have stayed in some pretty questionable places but this by far takes the cake! It was awful! Horrible bed, horrible bathroom and even worse staff! The bed was like sleeping on a plank of wood and we were given 2 single beds instead of double which we had booked and paid for. The bathroom was old and awful. The shower flooded every time as the drain did not work. The hotel itself does not make sense and it’s not clear which lift to take or what stairs to take. It is very old and dingy and stinks like smoke everywhere. The staff went through our room when we put the do not disturb sign on… we could see our things had been moved and clearly rifled through! The receptionist on check out was so rude. He disputed the bill with us as we were being charged for the food in room 126 (we were room 128). We showed him the items which were not ours and his only response was “I was not in the kitchen so I do not know”. He ended up pulling the receipt/ticket out which clearly showed room 126 but he insisted it was an 8 not a 6. We ended up having to pay the entire bill of €75.00 otherwise he would not let us check out.

The food was awful! There was no variety or choice on the menu. The rooms were in need of redecorating and were damp with mould! Stains on linen. Pool disgusting and not useable. The whole hotel needs a total revamp and decoration.

This was the last hotel we stayed at on our recent 3 week trip to Italy. We arrived to learn the elevator was out service and we were on the top floor. If this was all that happened, it would have been fine. We got to our room to find there was someone else's hair all over the soap dispenser, a mattress that felt like a box spring only and no wifi. Apparently our room was too far from the router to get the wifi. The first morning we went down for breakfast. The first dish I picked up had food all over the bottom of it. The only redeeming quality was the view.

It's a lovely building with a real Italian villa feel - beautiful gardens and pool area. The room was large and nicely finished. Food in the restaurant was very good. Located up the hill so while no problem walking down to the town, a bit more challenging making the ascent back up. Free shuttle bus. On the downside, they were a little heavy handed around the pool rules. Tried to confiscate a bag of crisps from people relaxing in the pool area. No music allowed. No mini-bar or fridge in the room. Impossible to have a cold drink. Everything geared towards forcing residents to buy extremely expensive drinks from the bar - soft drinks particularly expensive. Shop across the road sells cold drinks but need to consume quickly as no way to keep cool. Would probably go back. Would have given 3.5 rating if possible but 4 too high so will settle on 3.

Amazing accommodation. A small family run hotel that is perfect for travelling. A bus stop is right outside and there is also a free shuttle bus run by the hotel. The pool and bar beside it are perfect for relaxing. Rooms was spacious and very clean. Wouldn’t change anything

The Good - clean - friendly staff - pool - breakfast - good variety, machine coffee - walking distance to Regina Giovanni swim spot The ok, but ….. -shuttle to town good but last run at 9pm from town, then reliant on local bus, walk, taxi - Wi-Fi good in central areas not great in room (second floor), needs an extender! The not so good - location from town - 2.5km walk up hill (busy road with little pavement. Some good views of the town! - Arrived at 9pm (27 euro taxi from station) and restaurant closed at 8.45 - room tired - hard bed and shower head holder didn’t fit the head so limited pressure or would fly off! (Plenty of hot water) Sorrento town - great ambience - get out on a scooter 40 euro per day - Amalfi coast - eat out at “Enjoy the little things” restaurant in centre - made our stay!

The staff are SO UNHELPFUL. The cleaning people THREW AWAY my orthodontic retainer and the hotel not only refused to take responsibility but did nothing to help compensate for the replacements. Now I'm having to pay $1,000 to replace my orthodontic retainer and get Invisilign to realign my teeth. The hotel is also super far from the city and the wifi cuts out very often. The shower is tiny and there is no mini-fridge or coffee/tea machine, which a hotel at this price point should have.
