Carlton Hotel Blanchardstown

Convenient location to Dublin airport, free parking lot and very clean premises and rooms.

The floor and walls of the hotel room are very old, the towels are black, the main problem is that the staff inside will cheat money, and the things that are not consumed will be forcibly added to your body, which really should not appear in a five-star hotel, it is disgusting

The hotel was quite good and we enjoyed our stay. The staffs were quite good, especially the cleaners who were quite nice and friendly. The hotel environment and proximity to the city and airport added an advantage as we moved around within the nearby cities for fun. I will recommend this hotel to my friends and i hope to be back before the year runs out.

It was okay but could improve on the food, the room was cold even at 24 n I had seen heaters in other rooms…. That needs to improve….

Would have given this hotel a 5 if it hadn’t been for the meal we had in the Hourglass bar. The hotel was lovely. Accommodated an early check in at 2pm. Room was lovely and spacious, huge bed, fabulous shower and bath, lovely touch with chocolates and biscoff biscuits, plenty of tea coffee and toiletries in the room. The breakfast was amazing. And most of the staff in the hotel were so friendly. Very well located and free parking. A great hotel if visiting Dublin for business. Went in to the Hourglass for a glass of wine and a bite to eat. Ordered the curry and my friend ordered the chicken Caesar main. The chicken in the salad was so dry and tough it was simply inedible. On the first bite of the curry I got a hair. Disgusting. Understandably this can happen in any restaurant and would not have been a deal breaker. But the waitress came to the table and lifted both full plates of food to clear the table. Never asked if we enjoyed it, had a problem with it, nothing. When we tried to get her attention to say there was an issue with the food. She ignored us. Another waitress came to the table and I asked for the bill to be put on my room so that I could discuss it the following morning at reception. She made a fuss explaining we had to pay for the Food by card immediately. Even though they had asked for my room number. Nearly €70 for two glasses of Murlot, two glasses of pinot Grigio and a water. And food we could not eat. At reception when checking out I explained that we had a very bad meal. And the lovely receptionist in fairness apologised but did not make any effort to sort it out. Very very disappointing as it is a lovely hotel and I thought I had found a new regular place to stay.

We were at this hotel due to missing our connection flight to JFK on Aer Lingus. It was the airlines fault as it was delayed coming from Spain so the Airline put us up at this hotel. We were pretty tired by the time we got to the hotel so i only have one picture. Took us three hours from after landing to get details for hotel and rebook our flight. The room pretty much looked like the other pictures posted. The room was spacious. Nice comfortable bed. The bathroom was one of the largest bathrooms i've seen. It had a bathtub on one side and a walk in shower on the other. The shower was great. I wish i could take the shower home! The dinner was good. It was buffet style which was served to you. i selected the chicken as the meat option. We rec'd breakfast boxes in the morning as we had to leave at 7am for a morning flight so we were not able to stay for full breakfast. The hotel seemed more business like than touristy but good stay.

Clean hotel, great location, excellent customer services and extremely polite and welcoming staff

Great service , friendly staff and clean rooms. The only thing negative was the coffee at breakfast was horrible, would be better to upgrade to a coffee machine or fresh brewed coffee from a coffee maker.
