AC Hotel Melbourne Southbank Reviews

Was a lovely stay which felt like home! Everything was clean and efficient. Arrived early by noon and was granted check in with a warm welcome of chocolates and a personal note! Enjoyed a high floor on level 18 and late check out till 1pm as Elite Silver member. Would love to return here again next visit as there are tram stops, 3 supermarkets and South Melbourne Market all within walking distance. Love the friendly service from front desk to restaurant to housekeeping staff! Everything feels so new and fresh in the hotel, well maintained and being new. Easy to call an Uber as well just a short ride to city.

Generally speaking is ok. Need to walk around 10mins to tram station. Only complaint is the lighting in the room, we usually leave only the bathroom light on when sleeping (in case of need to visit bathroom at night); but bathroom light in AC hotel is linked to the dressing table light outside of the bathroom, which means we cannot independently turn off only the bathroom light. In the end, we have to leave a reading light on after turning off the bathroom/dressing table light, not ideal for a good night sleep.

Spacious room with amazing view. Super recommended to stay here if you got the budget, you won’t regret it!

Good services. Location away from most commercial services.

Looks pretty good in general but, very windy outside downstairs. I checked in early and paid the additional check-in fee. Upon entering my room I noticed the bath robe looked as though it wasn't cleaned. Given the price and standard of the hotel I would have thought they would catch this, especially since they had me waiting downstairs for ten minutes while a supervisor checked the roo

Hotel was beautiful with amazing views of the CBD. Kristal was amazing and went above and beyond for us throughout the stay which made a huge difference and was extremely appreciated, so a special shout out to her!

Great hotel and outstanding customer service

+: The premium double bed room with city view is beautiful and the amenities/facilities fantastic (beds were very comfortable, view was lovely, and the breakfast buffet bar had a wide selection of great options). -: The room service menu is very limited on Sundays and Mondays.

Stayed here over New Years and great location to walk to the events and home, safe area and staff and service were incredible. Highly recommend. Was able to drop off bags and room was even ready early with bags put in our room for us. Gym facilities were adequate for a good work out and clean. Fun evening activities in main lounge area with gin tasting and overall welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend and will go back.

This place is my new favourite. The staff are super friendly and accomodating and treating you like VIPs the minute you arrive. Beautiful venue with its views and amazing customer service .

Room view exceptional and reception Ms Sarah and Vanessa very welcoming. Unfortunately today there's water breakdown have to check our early. Hope it won'happen again

I have been staying for a few times, it will be great if they can upgrade me to try their different room.

The room was great but the bathroom is slightly disappointing. Temperature of the shower head was very unstable, warm & hot water kept exchanging during the shower.
