Expensive but worth it, convenient in case of late arrival and early next morning departure !

I recently stayed at this hotel for an extended period of time (16 days) for work. Overall, I'd stay at this hotel again if I wanted a secluded vacation where I just chill on the premises. I'll start with Pros: 1) The view - absolutely amazing!!!! Book a room with a sea view. 2) The workers were so nice! Themos, Alexandra, Sara, Vaggelis, Chistophos, and others whose name I can't remember (just the entire staff that worked September 10th - 26th) made me feel so at home! 3) Impressive Aegeo Spa at the Dolce Athens Attica Riviera. Yiannis and Frosina - the managers of the front desk - were very courteous, professional, and informative. They kindly explained every question I had about the different types of spa offerings. I received two amazing massages from Sofia (deep tissue) and Lena (eye massage). The prices are very reasonable for such an upscale venue. Be sure to schedule time to hang out in the heated saltwater pool afterwards; it's absolutely amazing! 4) The food - plenty of delicious choices. My favorite place was The Secret Restaurant by the pool. Great prices for a hearty food portion. 5) Direct access to the Aegean Sea - can't beat that. 6) Outdoor pool is beautiful. 7) There are chill areas in the main area of the hotel where you can read, play pool or other games, and eat free fruit. 8) They have free phone charging station behind the front desk (thank goodness because I left my charger on the plane)! 9) Outdoors you have the option of water sports. The cons: 1) The hotel and its decor are dated. Could use some renovation. 2) Can't reach the hotel without a car or taxi. And you need a car just to visit nearby tourist areas. It would be nice if the hotel had some type of shuttle arrangement for nearby tourist areas. 3) The gift shop is sp**** (but the worker was very nice!) 4) The music was very Westernized. I would have preferred to hear samplings of Greek music (afterall, I'm in Greece!)

I made a reservation in mainland China for my daughter who is in Germany and going to Greece. It is a hotel apartment near Athens Airport, about 8 kilometers away. The room is large and clean. Because I had an early flight at 6 a.m. the next day and didn't want to go to the city of Athens, I booked it that night. The landlord is very nice and amiable. If you contact her 15 minutes before arriving at the store, you can check in at the apartment. When you are alone in a foreign country, when you are not familiar with the place, when you don’t understand the language well, or when the plane is delayed, you have to go. Living near Athens Airport really gives me a sense of security and landing. The landlady also helped arrange a taxi to Athens Airport at 4:30 the next morning, which was ultimately delivered by the landlady herself. grateful! I would also like to thank Ctrip’s after-sales service staff, who helped with a lot of confirmation, coordination and service between 12:00 and 1:00 late at night, mainland time. Needs updating! Arrived here to a friendly welcome from the lovely staff at reception. Booked a premium sea view room was clean and of a good size but with a small balcony. Bathroom was big but in need of a serious update, shower went all over the bathroom floor which seemed to stay wet!! We were on floor six and it absolutely stank the minute you walked in of cigarettes it was very off putting to two non smokers, not very pleasant at all. Food was average, could always find something but we found it wasn’t always warm not alone hot. This is not good practice in a buffet type situation ( or any good food setting!) Dining area was probably the worse I’ve ever been in, depressing miserable canteen style with the most miserable staff we’ve ever seen! Pushing a black trolley around and clearing plates and dumping food next to your table is awful and should really be addressed by the hotel. Pool staff friendly. Enough sun beds around pool area. Hotel needs seriously updating it is a beautiful location. Not much around area so you are sort of stuck there, it’s a 30 min drive from the craziness of Athens so good if you want to relax. Guests were mostly French. I don’t think we would return unless some serious renovation took place.

Chose this location as we wanted to visit Athens and Marathon. Booked one week with EasyJet and paid £100 for taxi transfers to and from hotel and airport. All inclusive holiday and couldn’t fault the food apart from the usual problem of servery food, heat. Local drinks included were as expected. Room in main hotel was comfortable and serviced daily. Lifts worked well. Did some research and decide to book a taxi to take us into Athens. Cost 100 Euros return, booked for 07.15 to return at 16.30. Dropped off and picked up at the Acropolis. Took 55 mins both ways. Can go by local bus and metro for much cheaper but will not get you there until much later when the queue is half a mile long! We were fortunate that the day we visited was a museum day and all entrances were free. Worth checking if any of these dates coincide with your holiday. Otherwise 20 Euros each just for Parthenon People who had pre booked on the internet or cruise trip did not get refunds. Paid 20 Euros each for hop on/off bus. Spent most of the time stuck in traffic. Would recommend walking. Paid 12 Euros for a taxi to Marathon race museum. Only 2 Euros each. Museum is large and very interesting. Then taxi to Marathon beach 8 Euros and walk back along the beach to the hotel. From hotel beach gate exit turning left takes you to Marathon beach, 30 mins walk. Turning right takes you to Nea Makri harbour, 50 mins walk. Hope this information is helpful, enjoy your holiday 🌞

A relatively newly renovated hotel with a rich breakfast and an unbeatable view of the Acropolis. The location is also very good. It takes less than ten minutes to walk to the Acropolis Museum and 20 minutes to walk to Constitution Square. I will come again

I’m sad to read that there was this problem even ages ago, and till last week nothing has changed… I didn’t check tripadvisor before to book I’m only opening this to let the others know this problem but I’m seeing it’s an old and unsolved problem. After the orribile first night told to the reception what happened, oh ok I’ll send the housekeeper to sanificate the room, when we returned back in the evening I think nobody has never entered into that room coz the sheet were still dirty of blood. Second night again, this time they changed us the room, same problem meanwhile I was getting worst and worst and fortunately they chased just me (we were with 2 kids 2 and an half, and 8 months baby). Once again I went down to the reception and we got another room, but nothing changed. The only thing they have to do is junk everything in the bin start to sanificate and deep clean from the rooftop to the basement, then paint the wall and new everything. (We were 4 but in the first two rooms we got 3 single beds, in the last one just a doble bed)

Negative points:Breakfast buffet has less variety of food. It needs to include fruit squeezer and fried eggs. Black people stay nearby. Positive points: location is very good with 2 metro stations, especially omonia where 2 metro lines interact. They are very helpful for tourist to visit interesting places like acropolis. Staff service is excellent. Indian restaurants nearby offer delicious but cheaper food.

It is a very clean and good facility. It was very nice to be able to stay in such a good facility for such a low price. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the city by subway. However, if you can stay in such a clean and good facility, it is not a problem at all. The manager keeps in touch and checks if there is anything you need. I had to go to the airport early in the morning, but they prepared a pick-up vehicle for me, so I came comfortably.
