Beautiful hotel right near the old city. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing - lots of variety and all was delicious. The best part however was Maria, the Manager. She was so helpful and made sure that everything was perfect for us.

Splendida is a boutique hotel very close to Split's old town. The hotel is great, well decorated, clean, parking space (which is very difficult in the region) and where you can do practically everything on foot. Breakfast included in the rate is excellent. The service at the reception...... Marija.....is fantastic... she even paid the traffic ticket I got in Zadar for me. In short, highly recommended.....

First of all, a HUGE THANK YOU to Marija for her welcome, her kindness, her humor and her excellent restaurant advice. This 10-room boutique hotel is ideally located a 5-minute walk from the historic center and it has parking (spaces are difficult to find in Split). The rooms are comfortable and have air conditioning, a safe and a mini bar. There is also a very small swimming pool to cool off in. And what can we say about the breakfast other than that it is sumptuous (the best we ate during our Dalmatian journey). Hotel to highly recommend during your future stay in Split.

I can not rate this hotel any higher . It was absolutely amazing . I emailed the hotel to say that I would be arriving and checking in late after a long day travelling long haul . Marija emailed back to say that she would stay late to check me in as they usually stop checkin earlier. The driver ( I would recommend for 45 euros ) that the hotel sent to the airport made my journey so easy. The welcome , the room and the breakfast all five star plus . I only wish I was staying more than one night . Thank you.

A wonderful experience. Three couples spent time at this hotel in April 2024 for 5 days. Marija and her team understand customer service and nothing was too much trouble. They went out of their way to make our stay memorable and comfortable. The rooms and common areas were spotless, as described in the hotel photographs and very comfortable. The breakfast provided was outstanding. Lots of choices and variety for all tastes. The location can't be beat, within 5 minutes walking distance to Diocletian's Palace, the local market and the Riva Harbour. Marija assisted our group with great dinner recommendations and reservations along with booking two excursions, all well done and with great local providers. Coffee was offered whenever we returned to the hotel along with home made cookies. Marija provided each guest with a preprogrammed cell phone with all the important numbers one may need. Marija and her team were truly exceptional and I would not hesitate to return or recommend the Splendida Palace to my friends or family. PS. Marija's family home made cherry rakija was a hit with our group. Thank you Marija for your hospitality!

After reading the glowing reviews of Splendida Palace, we decided to stay here. Thank you Trip Advisor reviewers for sending us to this wonderful place. Breakfast is outstanding with exceptional service. Thank you Michaela (sorry for the American spelling). You make the best lattes in the world! One morning we had a tour that left before breakfast was served,. So the night before we asked if it would be okay to grab some fruit to take with us. "Of course" they said. The next morning we stopped by the breakfast room and were handed a complete breakfast packed in a brown shopping bag! The other people on the tour were so jealous. I told them if they had stayed at the Splendida Palace, they too could have a beautiful breakfast packed by the greatest people in the world! Thank you for making our stay so perfect! Highly, highly recommend. You will thank me.

This should be a 5 star hotel. In all our travels globally, we have not stayed in a such a charming, squally clean hotel with a personal touch. I cannot say enough about Marija and her staff. She’s amazing, attentive and very responsive with a lot of care and passion for her guests. Almost forgot about the breakfast; like everything else, breakfast is a tasteful treat, cannot miss it! Marija, Mihaela, and staff, thank you so much for your hospitality and showing us the best of Croatia. We will make sure to let everyone know about you! Thanks again.

This small hotel in the center of Split was incredible. Had the feel of a B&B. The ladies that run this hotel were great. They cook the morning breakfast for the guests, provide suggestions of places to visit, and provided direction on the restaurants in the area.
