"A lovely stay in Briig hotel. A perfect location by a local beach with easy access to the port and town in under ten minutes by foot. Very spacious rooms with a super comfy XL bed and updated designer toiletries in the bathroom along with the amazing shower. A small but functional rooftop pool and sun deck and lovely garden to have breakfast and drinks. As a designer hotel it might be even better if it were adult only…but I appreciate that is highly subjective."

"Overall a very good hotel. Clean, good service, and well equipped. The WiFi is quick and the attached restaurant is tasty. The rooms are large. The included breakfast is relatively light on options but you can order omelets. The fitness center is small and mostly unused (they have to unlock for you to use). The location is out of the main part of town and a tad hard to get to for taxi/ubers as there is no real front entrance to park at. I suggest you have them pick you up or drop off down the street."

"First, thank you to Ctrip's hotel department for their excellent pre-sales service. They confirmed that the hotel would need to enter through the Silver Gate in the old city, which saved us the trouble of walking up stairs for those with luggage. The hotel room was bright and spacious, with a view of the cathedral from the window. Since there's no elevator, the hotel staff helped me with my elderly family's luggage both during check-in and check-out, which was very touching. Breakfast isn't a buffet; it's cooked on the spot according to the menu. Excellent service."

"It was a lovely and cosy hotel within the palace area of old town. It was easy to get to the port and other sightseeing places. It was close to restaurants and cafés. The staff are lovely and professional. They even packed my breakfast when I had an early start for one of my tours.  The hotel offers the bare basic amenities which was fine for me."

It's a 10-minute walk to the old town, offering a quiet oasis amidst the bustling city. The pier is a 5-minute walk away, making it very convenient. Highly recommended."
