Galeria Valeria Seaside Downtown - Mag Quaint & Elegant Boutique Hotels

It was a very good location to walk to the heart of the city and it was close to the port where you can go for a nice walk along the port.

Small little hotel with perfect location right at the esplanade of Split. Plenty of restaurants and shops downstairs. Breakfast is very simple and small serve in size and may not be enough for normal adults

We loved our stay at Galleria Valeria - conveniently located to all of the old town Split attractions. The staff was very helpful and the terrace is truly fabulous. 🤩 Special shout out to Sonja (Sophie) who went above and beyond to help us! 💎 📺📱🗝️🤣 There is a restaurant next to the hotel - our room was near it, so we could sometimes smell the food being cooked if the windows were open. No fault of the hotel…just a mention. Travel tip: grab a bottle of wine or cold beer at the Tommy grocery store (very close to hotel) and save some serious euros! That, with a sandwich on the terrace, was a fantastic way to enjoy the views and breezes! Overall, we’d highly recommend this hotel for a fun time in Split.

My review is a bit mixed but overall I do recommend this hotel. I would say good rather than very good but more than average. We were there at the beginning of the season and I don't think they were quite ready yet. Firstly the location is fabulous. Just outside the city but close to everything. Also fab little restaurants and a supermarket close by. The first room we were shown was full of flies and had a funny smell. The second room was lovely, right on the 4th floor with a hob and small kitchenette. It had a lovely patio with a great view bit no outside chairs. We requested some and to their credit we were given 2 chairs and a table which were great. The room and bed were lovely and comfy and the bathroom clean and no complaints at all. We were given a fridge but sadly the first one didn't work, but they replaced it quickly. We had an issue with the hob. Having brought breakfast stuff, when we came to cook the hob didn't work and apparently could not be fixed. When we queried this (having wasted money on food shopping) we were told it was more of a "fake" kitchen for demonstration purposes only! Also the safe did not work. However, the staff were nice. Young lady called Elle particularly sweet and helpful. I did like those hotel and we had a great stay. Some of the amenities mentioned were not available but they kindly did not charge us more for our upgraded room.
