Comfort Inn & Suites Springfield I-55

This is a great place to stay in Springfield. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The hot breakfast was good. The hotel is in a quiet location. No complaints.

We have been traveling through 17 states and stayed at several Comfort Inns and this one by far exceeded our expectations. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The lobby was nice and inviting. Breakfast was really good, had eggs,sausage,bacon and even biscuits & gravy along with other items. Would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

I am a Choice Elite Rewards member. Typically, Comfort Inn & Suites locations are consistently satisfactory. This property needs updating and better staffing. The property and rooms were not clean or well-maintained. The property is dated and needs updating. They are understaffed. The front desk attendant, Christina, was helpful, friendly and customer service oriented. I work for a Construction company and occasionally book lodging for some of our field staff members. We have completed projects right in this area of Springfield, IL. I would not book this property for my team members.

Here on business and stayed based on the reviews. We've very select about comfort suites since they are not all the same. Positives: friendly staff, nice location, large clean bathroom with walk in shower, fair price. Negative: old worn furniture, freshly painted walls in the hallway made your eyes water even in the room, tattered lampshades and very hard mattress. Breakfast was basic, watered juices, no bread but did have muffins, eggs and sausage.

We bring our family here every time we come to Springfield. It's clean and safe the staff are friendly. And the breakfast is very good.

1. The hairdryer should have been replaced since the low function doesn't work and the high function sparks before working. 2. The breakfast was questionable, especially having no cereal. 3. The easy chair and the toilet were too low to the ground, making it difficult to get up when finished. 4. The internet was useless, only working anywhere from 10 seconds to a few minutes at a time before needing to be reconnected. Even calling the toll-free number was useless b/c they claimed that, due to a software issue, the internet would probably not be working. This needed to be told upon checkin. 5. There were ants in the room.

Room was probably the cleanest I’ve stayed in a long time, so thank you!! Being able to get ice without asking the front desk would have verbs nice or a water fountain. The water in the fitness center was out. I’m sure it’s not easily doable but having the hot tub/spa away from the pool would be amazing, to be able to relax away from kids splashing and yelling in the pool.

Toliet barely flushed super low water pressure & ants coming out the wall by the hot tub, would recommend a different hotel
