The room was spacious & the hot tub worked. Everything else was a disaster. The blankets on the bed were not clean and super thin. I have pictures to prove it. There was stains including blood stains on the pillows. I called to have the sheets replaced in the morning and when they did the replacement the new sheets were just stained. No blood stains this time, so i guess progress. The elevators didn’t work, there was cracks in the walls inside the room. There was black stains on the tv, and the view made it look like i was staying next to crackhouses. I feel like the room should have been 200 dollars less than what i paid for. The staff was courteous so thats why im giving one star.

Wasnt told there was no working elevator until we arrived at the property and then was told our room Was on the third floor, although the front desk worker did offer to help us get our suitcase to our room! There was no cold water in the shower!

worst hotel ever. if you don’t have to argue with the people behind the counter about what you initially reserved versus what they decide they are going to give you instead, you find yourself fighting of the bedbugs. this review is based on our two stays here a few years ago, but i doubt if it has gotten any better judging from some of the recent reviews.

I loved the jacuzzi tub the room was huge the front desk people was nice

Unfriendly staff, room was very cold even though the heater was on, bed sheets were dirty, room didn’t look like it was cleaned or renovated in years. Wouldn’t stay there again.

This was a good place to stay in Springfield. Close to the Dana Thomas house and the Lincoln sites

There was no Pet area. there is an archway over the parking entrances that my full size ( but not high top ) van barely fit under. the entire place from the parking to the exterior and rooms needs serious maintenance. its dark and uninviting.

If looking for downtown convenience in a basic hotel room, this is a decent option at this price point. Clean room, comfortable bed, shower with good pressure and plenty of hot water. Refrigerator and microwave a bonus. Dated building with little quirks of another era like no bedside outlets, but evidence of facility improvements underway. Main complaint is the WiFi is awful. Slow signal and service comes and goes. If internet is important to you for work or otherwise, you will find a stay here frustrating. If mainly coming to see the tourist sites, it is a convenient location for walking downtown with public transport links nearby. Worth considering for the price.
