For an inexpensive option this is the place! If your looking for somewhere convenient, quiet and clean look no further. I was worried about the quality since it is considerably less expensive than some other places around but I was very happy with my choice. The staff was friendly and didn’t mind me coming by for coffee each morning and also accommodated but an early check in and later check out no
Problems. If I’m ever back in Springfield I’ll stay again.

We were greeted by a super friendly front desk worker! Parking was very convenient and the rooms are clean. The free amenities in the front desk area are a bonus and the area has lots of different dining options within a couple of minutes! I would stay here again next time I'm in town.

Rooms are very outdated and run down.
The street traffic noise was very annoying.
The walls are very thin, we could hear the occupants upstairs everytime they coughed or cleared their throat.
Would not recommend.

We had a not-so-good experience. First, I must say this motel is very clean with very friendly and helpful staff. The problem is this is a very old motel and needs updating. Our issue was with insulation. Our main problem stemmed from the fact that you could see daylight around the door. It did not close securely and not only was cold air blowing into our room (as though there was an open window) but the noise was at a level 10 all night long. This motel is situated near the freeway and all night long we heard racing cars, squealing tires and voices. We really had to crank up the heat in the room because it was so cold. Thus, not very eco-friendly. The bed was also covered with a plastic mattress pad underneath the sheets. Every time we rolled over, you would think we were laying on bubble wrap. The crackling was deafening and disturbing!

They had just had an ice storm and many of the trees were brpken down. Staff excellent.
