"The location is moderate and convenient to travel. The room was clean. The air conditioner in the United States is placed under the window, so it is best to block the chair. There is a Chinese guy named Jerry who is very friendly and likes to help."
HomeTowne Studios Eugene - Springfield
"I stayed at Hometown Suites in Springfield, Eugene Oregon during graduation weekend and paid over $300 per night because hotels in the Eugene area were limited. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. I had prepaid for two nights in advance. When I arrived shortly after the advertised 3:00 PM check-in time, I was initially told there were no rooms available despite my stay being fully paid. There was already a long line of guests waiting in the lobby, and many appeared frustrated by the delays. After a lengthy wait, I was finally assigned a room. The problems started before I even entered the room. The exterior of the property was poorly maintained, with trash scattered around the grounds and large areas of dead grass, creating an overall impression of neglect. Once inside, it was obvious the room had not been properly cleaned. It appeared the only thing that had been changed were the towels. The bathroom was dirty, the handicapped shower seat was rusted and covered with mildew, and there were stains on the ceiling above the bed. The toilet continuously ran and I had to fix it myself to stop the noise. The shower head leaked all night, and water leaked onto the bathroom floor, creating a slipping hazard. Every trip to the bathroom required stepping through water while holding onto the walls to avoid falling. I asked for an iron and was told the hotel does not provide one. The room was not serviced during my stay. The towels were old and worn out. My key cards stopped working and had to be replaced twice. Another guest told me theirs had been replaced six times. What made the experience even more frustrating was learning that this property appears to cater primarily to long-term occupants. Guests staying more than 28 days are reportedly required to leave for 24 hours before returning to avoid establishing tenant rights. I understand this is an extended-stay property, but cleanliness, safety, and basic maintenance should still be expected. Charging over $300 per night for a room in this condition is unacceptable. I took a video and photographs documenting the issues. Had this room cost $90 per night, I still would have been disappointed. At more than $300 per night, it was inexcusable. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this property to anyone visiting Eugene. Terrible experience. This review won’t take my pictures."
Spark by Hilton Springfield Eugene
"The hotel has convenient transportation, there are many restaurants around, you can change the pattern every day, the room facilities are relatively new and very clean, a good choice for business trips or short stays!"
Econo Lodge Inn & Suites
"The Indian aunt is very kind and the room smells strange, but I know it's a good point (breakfast is OK, etc. 々 from 15 minutes ago)."
