Parking lot was full, no safe alternatives provided; only one elevator was functioning; floor 7 had no ice machine; kids running rampant throughout who were supposed to be attending a NYTRA program. Front office staff were less than helpful or accommodating. The bathtub/shower was what you would see in an RV.

Depite, being located downtown in a small city the area was pretty clean and the area was safe to walk around at night.

I was leery after reading some of the reviews of this place, but it was the hotel selected for the event I was attending. I was pleasantly surprised in all ways. The hotel is clean, modern, great free wifi, central to many attractions and one block from MassMutual. The beds were comfortable, and the room was quiet. We enjoyed the food court that can be reached from a covered walkway (excellent salads, sandwiches and Greek options), and Starbucks is also part of the complex. Highly recommend Red Rose pizza and the Palazzo coffee shop for exquisite baked goods and espresso. Staff was cheerful and helpful. I usually stay in hotels that are part of the Hilton brand, and this one compares favorably to any of those. If we are back in Springfield, this is where we will stay.

Truly miserable one night stay. The TV was on the home screen when we arrived and not only didn't work but would not turn off. Desk sent someone with a new remote, which also did not work. He gave up, leaving us with essentially a massive nightlight. My husband used the bath towels to try to darken the screen. Then, at 6:00AM, (on a Sunday), we were treated to some kind of repair project in the hall, complete with repeated hammering and loud voices. When I complained at check out and tried to get some compensation, the staff told me that because I booked through a third party (Hotel Tonight) there was nothing they could do. I was stunned at this total lack of responsibility. It was not the third party that made our very rare night away a misery. We will never stay at this place again and highly recommend you don't either.
