This is a cozy and welcoming hotel. The ambience is Scottish plaid and attentive service. Situated in a townhouse, it is central to shopping, the Old Course and pubs very walkable. Breakfast room was lovely with linen and attentive servers. Would highly recommend!

What a great Little Hotel here at the Albany hotel. I stayed with friends for a golfing trip and I must say the staff at reception were kind and also the Cleaners too. The young man from housekeeping came to my room and gave me fresh towels and tea/coffes. Room was very clean and well presented. everything you need in it. Thanks to the girl at reception and boy from housekeeping for making my stay here more better I would stay again.

Lovely hotel right in city centre, conveniently located next to the bar where Kate and Will had their first coffee, but also to the Castle, tje Cathedral and the city centre. The room is not so big as the structure is old (no elevator for this reason), but it's comfortable and very well furnished and decorated. We loved it, the bathroom looks modern and it's fantastic! Strongly reccommended. Ps Sarah & Sophia at the reception were such sweet and nice girls.

The hotel is very old and appears to need a lot of TLC. The room was so tiny we could barely move and it wasn’t clean. So much so that I went through the room with Clorox wipes and wiped smudges off doors and walls. There is literally no place to put your luggage or any of your personal items while in the bathroom. The sink was so tiny that water went all over the floor when simply washing your hands. The same problem with the extremely cramped shower. Absolutely no room to put your shampoo or other necessities. The furniture in the room was in shabby condition. Even the desk next to the bed had veneer that was literally peeling right off the desk. The mattress was super hard. It was absolutely the worst night ever and I was so grateful that we only had to endure one night there. The only real positive was the breakfast in the morning. We were happily surprised by many tasty options and kind attentive service.

A traditional and comfortable family-run hotel well situated near the centre of town. The rooms were comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful, especially in helping us to find a good place to dine out. I would very happily stay there again.
