"This hotel was unexpected. When the car just arrived at the door, my heart skipped a beat. It felt completely different from the concept in China. When I went in, I found that it was a different world. The sanitation was very clean, the room was also very large, and the supplies were very good. It should be a large manor. It is very beautiful. The restaurant is very good, better than the French restaurant in St. Ann. The products are very delicate and the taste is good. The staff are very friendly. It was a great experience."

"Lovely hotel but I would say it’s not particularly buzzy or exciting (we spent a Saturday night there). Bars and restaurants are ok, food nothing special but still expensive. There is a games room for children which could definitely do with some improvement (barely any toys and all quite old). The cinema room wasn’t available as there was a wedding on so not much to do with our 1 year old. We did go swimming and the pool was lovely and nice little kids pool. And the room was lovely and very big bathroom. Lovely cake left for my husband for his birthday."

"A very low-key hotel, not easy to find. Pay attention to the flag of Scotland hanging at the door of the store. There is also a sign with the name of the hotel on the side of the building. If you forget which side it is on, you can also pay attention to it. From the train station, you can take a local bus and get off at St. Ann's bus terminal or the closer Grannie Klarks Wynd (Wynd means small road) station. The hotel is across the road. There is heavy traffic, so be careful when crossing the road. The service staff at the hotel are very welcoming! Feel at home! The hotel is very clean and can withstand the strictest health inspections! Very happy with this! Photos cannot express all the goodness of the hotel...the view is excellent, especially the breakfast area. The location is also great, very close to the beach and main streets such as Market Street. highly recommended."

"I write this review in the hope that someone senior at Premier Inn reads and acts upon. I give the hotel 1 , the lowest I have ever reviewed and if I could have given it a zero I may have considered. We were in room 3 , ground floor and in my opinion this is a really poor and dirty room. I have never had an issue at Glenrothes Inn and thought due to a wedding location in St Andrews this was a safe and reliable choice. It was in my opinion expensive , but was happy to pay this until we turned up. It is very tired , unmaintained and DIRTY. The dust and whatever below the bed , in the bathroom and in the corners was dreadful. We did not enjoy the environment at all, let alone the room key holder that you use for lights and power, which was loose and dangerous. I know people may think this is a customer with a grudge, but my whole premier inn reliable experience has gone out the window. I used to have a high regard for premier inn experience. If I had known what it was like I would have paid extra and gone else where. So sorry to premier inn but please improve this hotel as it is in a lovely town in Fife that has so much to offer the traveller."

"I was due to stay at the Ardgowan hotel with my fiancee on the 24th and 25th January 2025. However, the hotel has closed for renovation. This was not communicated to us in any form, leaving me to find alternative arrangements with minimal notice. If I hadn’t been looking at the website ahead of time to see about adding an additional day to the booking, we would’ve turned up on the 24th and found it closed leaving us without accommodation. We booked via the hotel website and the only email received from the hotel was the booking confirmation. Very poor customer service."
