"I have stayed in numerous Premier Inns from Aberdeen to Dubai, but never in St Andrews, where I have been in the retail and holiday letting business. I wasn't disappointed. Well-located within an easy walk of the compact town centre and adjacent to a M&S food outlet, there is ample free parking. Rooms have all the amenities you'd expect . I opted for Premier Plus, at the quiet rear of the hotel, and was pleasantly surprised to be welcomed at Reception by a charming real person! Continental breakfast was more than ample. Altogether, I very pleasant break from a gruelling couple of days in icy weather."

A small, basic hotel cost over £200, much more expensive than in Edinburgh. But St Andrews is a popular golf destination, so it's crowded with tourists and hotels are generally expensive."

"This hotel was unexpected. When the car just arrived at the door, my heart skipped a beat. It felt completely different from the concept in China. When I went in, I found that it was a different world. The sanitation was very clean, the room was also very large, and the supplies were very good. It should be a large manor. It is very beautiful. The restaurant is very good, better than the French restaurant in St. Ann. The products are very delicate and the taste is good. The staff are very friendly. It was a great experience."

"A very low-key hotel, not easy to find. Pay attention to the flag of Scotland hanging at the door of the store. There is also a sign with the name of the hotel on the side of the building. If you forget which side it is on, you can also pay attention to it. From the train station, you can take a local bus and get off at St. Ann's bus terminal or the closer Grannie Klarks Wynd (Wynd means small road) station. The hotel is across the road. There is heavy traffic, so be careful when crossing the road. The service staff at the hotel are very welcoming! Feel at home! The hotel is very clean and can withstand the strictest health inspections! Very happy with this! Photos cannot express all the goodness of the hotel...the view is excellent, especially the breakfast area. The location is also great, very close to the beach and main streets such as Market Street. highly recommended."

"The location in St Andrews is fine and quiet. The atmosphere is as per most Premier Inn locations, nothing fancy. My room was clean and warm, the bed was comfortable. It was let down by the water temperature at all taps, which fluctuated greatly between cold and very hot, not ideal when using the shower. The food was a big dissapointment. My evening meal was cooked from frozen, main course, my one mouthfull almost cold, the next hot. The desert was supposed to be Sticky toffee pudding. It was a very poor effort and bland to say the least. I stayed for two nights and didnt eat in the restaurant the second night. I did not think this was good value for money due to the water and food issues."

"I went with my Son as we were going to a wedding and we couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. The owner Pam was very friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. The room was large, spacious, clean and very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and filling . Once again Pam couldn't do enough to help make the experience a real positive one . "What a gem of a place! A wonderful stay from start to finish. This is a community run Inn and we had booked a 2 night B&B stay. From the moment we checked in we were made to feel so welcome by Sarah. To be honest everyone we met during our stay from staff, volunteers and the locals were so warm and friendly. The room was clean and spacious opening out onto a shared patio area. There was plenty tea and coffee facilities in the room with the added touch of fresh milk in the fridge. We had booked dinner on the first and it was delicious and very reasonably priced. Same being said for the breakfasts there was plenty to choose from which you pre ordered the night before. The lady doing the breakfast service ( sorry I didn’t get your name) was very knowledgeable of the surrounding area and any travel advise needed she’s your go to! We were lucky enough on our stay to experience the live music night which was absolutely amazing, approx 12 musicians turned up with a variety of instruments and treated us all to a very lively and memorable night! You are ideally situated on the outskirts of St Andrews and even closer to Crail and Anstruther. It’s also worth a short walk or 2 mins drive to Kingsbarns beach. We definitely look forward to returning! Well done team “Kingsbarns” you are doing a fantastic job! Ps a special thanks to Roxy who was a fantastic host!"
