Lovely and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Right next door to a restaurant as well which is extremely handy!

The receptionist was not very friendly. On entering the room there was a distinct smell of poo. As the heater was left on it was very hot so we turned that off and opened the window. Having to leave window open by night we we're woken up a couple of times by traffic. The stairwell was dark, understandable by night but day time too? The beverage tray on reception was running low but topped up by request. The room needs updating and painting. Quite clean but just outdated. 3 towels between 2 adults. Bathroom floor was squeaky and uneven. Bed was quite comfy but no way was it a king-size as advertised. Holes in quilt cover. Only big bonus was pub next door although their online prices differ to prices on the menu in the pub. The pub staff very polite and friendly and chef was allergen aware. Served a purpose, just a shame some other guests did not know how to close their doors quietly.

What more do you need... ideally situated in the heart of Cornwall and half the price of most places... oh and we stayed in a pet friendly room... We found the room clean and tidy and the staff really pleasant and helpful... talking of which... a big thank you for posting back my child's soft toy... you're a star.... :-)

Not good value at nearly £100 for the night. My room was tatty, smelt of damp. The bed was comfortable though. The receptionist in the afternoon was surly and unhelpful. The receptionists in the morning were very friendly Make sure you don't order breakfast when booking a room. It will be the takeaway box

The room and general public areas were clean and tidy and staff friendly and helpful. On arrival and for the most part of our holiday it rained but the room was warm and the facilities meant we could dry our wet clothes easily in our room, and extra towel was provided on request, thank you.

Every thing at the hotel was very good clean an well maintained pub attached food was lovely only criticism was our neighbours very noisy not hotels fault tho room smelt fresh and was very clean I would stay again

Stayed on a brief two day holiday to Cornwall. Conveniently close to the Eden Project. The hotel is adjacent to a pub (The Victoria) where we ate breakfast and an evening meal, food good quality and cheap. It is a budget hotel and none the worse for that but great value and like all the Travelodge’ sim which we stayed, the staff were pleasant, helpful, professional and friendly.

Upon arrival one would be forgiven for thinking the place was derelict, such is the state of external upkeep Staff friendly, room ok, but dated. My room was 25 feet from a relatively busy road, and it was akin to sleeping in a layby. The view of the adjacent pubs bins, and the early morning delivery outside my window just added to the joy. Had I known how bad my night was going to be, I'd have just driven home yesterday instead.

Had a great stay at the Bodmin Roche Travelodge. Although an older hotel and in need of an update our room was lovely and clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Nicola on reception was friendly and helpful giving us advice on local places to visit. Will be back again
