Golden Sands

Pretty good location especially when we updated the room with a sea view. Excellent service and great breakfast.But the Wi-Fi was so poor when we were at room.Whatever it was still an awesome holiday

Had a lovely time - the room overlooking the bay provided the best view and it was a dream to wake up to the sound of waves every morning. Can't beat the location and there are several restaurants nearby as well as the hotels own which was really convenient for drinks in the evening and for a quick lunch between beach sessions. Everything was clean and quiet and service was friendly and even called to tell us our room was ready earlier than planned.

The hotel sits right on the beachfront of St Brelade’s Bay which is a stunning bay. The sea view rooms all have balconies which allows you to look out over the magnificent bay. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms do not have air conditioning which may be a issue for some in hot weather

I wanted to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all the staff at the Golden Sands Hotel. These guys work so hard and go above and beyond to make guests feel valued and welcomed. We had an amazing few days at the hotel and we were lucky enough to be in Jersey for the Liberation Day celebrations in St Helier which were amazing. The hotel is well kept and fronts the beautiful beach. We were lucky to have amazing weather. The food in the hotel is very nice and the breakfast had very many options and choices which were tasty and filling. We upgraded to a Seaview room which was worth the extra cost and there's nothing quite like waking up and going to sleep with the stunning beach view and sounds of the waves. We had a slight problem with the bed in the sea view room as the mattress was very soft however, the hotel staff were so attentive and offered us another room which we didn't really need as it was our last night. Nothing was too much trouble and every member of staff was just so kind and lovely. We will be back for sure, thank you once again Sharon & Michael.

Amazing hotel with amazing staff and the view is wonderful. The balcony outside is great to sit in and look out to sea. Very peaceful

Our stay at The Golden Sands Hotel was made so special by the genuine friendliness of the hospitality and catering team. Nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel so welcome. Just small gestures can really make a difference to a stay in a hotel and the thoughtfulness of the staff reflected this from the minute we arrived. The hotel was wonderful and the staff were excellent, especially behind front desk and the bar.. however, unfortunately we didn’t sleep at all due to a neighbour in the staff unit above sugar reed partying until 5am, so we left… When we informed the staff they indicated it was a known issue every summer and they might be looking to add sound insulation! So excellent hotel, but beware if your room is on the sugar reef end of the hotel…

Lovely hotel , 10 mins from Jersey Airport, with well appointed rooms. Friendly, helpful staff and restaurant which offers a good range of high quality food and drinks. Stunning view of the bay if you choose a seafront room - you’d be silly not to. Beautiful view to wake up to. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.
