"The service was excellent, the front desk staff were very welcoming, and the breakfast was delicious! The Jersey breakfast was authentic, and the Eggs Benedict was exceptionally well-made! I didn't expect to find such a high-quality, luxurious breakfast in Jersey. The location is superb, right by the beach. The decor is gorgeous and beautiful, the rooms are spacious, and all toiletries are from White Company – very classy."

"The room was decent, and although it's ranked second in the local rankings, I didn't feel the hotel was luxurious. However, the hotel staff were very warm and friendly. Breakfast included a buffet and many à la carte options, all included in the price. The front desk offered complimentary lemon water and fruit. The hotel's location was okay, but Jersey Island isn't very big, and the San Brelarde waters aren't large either. Restaurants are all within a ten-minute walk. The bus stop is right across from the hotel."

"Once again an excellent stay at the Somerville Hotel, over Christmas. This hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and the location cannot be beaten. I can’t wait to return, for another visit, around April 2026. Thank you to all staff, for making my visit so memorable, once again."

"We have stayed in the Beau Rivage every year for 10 years (excluding 2020) and would have regarded it as our favourite place to stay so I feel really sad to write this review. Unfortunately, this year proved a very different experience. Aside from being bounced from the apartment we had specifically booked, with the offhand response that the one we had been allocated was "exactly the same but on a floor lower" (something which is very important given the proximity to the bar), the biggest problem this year was that it was like staying in a very loud, never-ending nightclub.  While we have previously tended to avoid staying at weekends, we have done so in the past, knowing that the bar shut at 10pm most days and 9pm on a Sunday.  Now the bar is very much prioritised over the guests - on Friday the music and partying went on until just shy of midnight.  On Saturday there was an extremely loud disco from 7pm-9pm, followed by loud party music until 12.45 with the noise from guests continuing until about 1.30am.  On Sunday, we returned to the apartment in the afternoon and at 3pm, a very loud live singer started just below our windows and went on for two hours!  The terrace area was so busy, the noise was deafening and everyone could see straight into our rooms. More music followed her set but when we returned from dinner at about 9pm, we were relieved that all was quiet.  Our relief was shortlived - at just before 10pm, very loud football anthems started on a loop and continued until about 11.45pm.  If you want to party, this is a great place for you but we won't be returning. And Elizabeth, the manager who was an absolute pleasure is no longer there - when we left, her replacement didn't even enquire whether everything was okay with our stay and although we wrote to them to explain why we wont be returning, the email was not even acknowledged."
