Porthole Suites

This was our second stay at The Porthole Suites and we booked months ahead for an important family reunion in St Aubin. Alex was fantastically helpful at every stage of the booking process and, after a lovely warm welcome, throughout our stay. We were staying in suite 10 on the third floor with wonderful, panoramic views of the harbour and over the bay to St Helier. The suites are spacious, spotlessly clean and so comfortable with lots of storage space. Thank you for a memorable stay Alex and team.

MY wife and i spent 7 nights in Porthole Suites and it was a truly great experience. On arrival the reception has a welcoming ambience with many leaflets and brochures on Jersey and day trips etc. The room was spacious, very clean and well equipped with kitchenette incl fridge and microwave. The bathroom is well sized too with an excellent shower. The owner (Alex) and all the staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was serviced regularly throughout the week . It was very relaxing sitting in the delightful garden when we returned in the evening. The Suites are centrally located (up a very short hill from the harbour) in the village of St Aubin which is a great place to stay with many coffee shops, restaurants and bars nearby. As keen walkers it was a very pleasant distance to St Helier along the promenade or in the other direction through woodland to Corbiere Lighthouse. Each of the walks takes around 1 .5 hours one way at a leisurely pace. Alternatively the bus runs every 20 mins and also goes directly to the airport. In summary Porthole Suites is a wonderful place to stay in Jersey and is thoroughly recommended. We would love to return soon.

I have been a regular business visitor to Jersey over the last 10 years. Porthole Suites are the first accommodation i look for availability at, but sadly they are often completely booked up. From the warm welcome you get on arrival to the spotlessly clean room and very comfy bed. There really is nothing that i can fault.

Extremely clean and comfortable apar**ent in beautiful location, perfect for your visit to Jersey! We have stayed at portholes a few times now and will be returning - it has all you need and much more and Alex the owner is super helpful - all in all you couldn’t wish for a better place to stay when on the beautiful island of Jersey!

Very comfortable suite, with everything you need for a self-catering break. Modern and tastefully furnished. Clean and tidy throughout, almost felt like we were the first guests! The location is ideal to explore St Aubin and the surrounding St Brelade area and there is car parking if you happen to have a car. Owners welcomed us on arrival and made us feel very welcome. This the second time we have used Porthole Suites and would do so again, without hesitation.

I stayed here for 4 nights over Xmas and the best recommendation I can make is that I am looking forward to my imminent return. The icing on the cake was an upgrade to the penthouse suite with fabulous views of the harbour and a separate bedroom. Handily located for the (airport) bus and St Aubin's cafes and restaurants. I hired a car at Xmas, and availed of the free parking, but will be relying on the bus next time given the very accessible location. Great communication with the owner and the lovely housekeeper was very welcoming and helpful. The suite was warm, clean, well-appointed and surprisingly good water pressure in the shower given the size of the property and that I was on the top floor. I have stayed in many different places in my 20+ trips tot he island over the last 18 years and am delighted to have found one that I will return to again and again.

I live in Jersey and I have recently helped to organise a 9 day break for my elderly Mum and my sister at Porthole Suites. Alex (the owner of the property) was extremely helpful and went out of her way to ensure my family’s specific requirements were more than catered for. My Mum is disabled and uses a wheelchair and a walking frame. She stayed in the Helier Suite on the ground floor which was superb. Her bed was extremely comfortable and she could access the large walk in shower with support. The room was warm, cosy and absolutely spotless. Cassie, who works with Alex, kept the room in tip top condition during the week, changing towels and bed linen on a regular basis. The kitchen area was well fitted out with everything you could ask for. We arranged for my sister to stay in the room directly above Mum’s suite and Alex thoughtfully provided a door bell (for Mum) and a receiver for my sister so that Mum could request support during the night. This was used on a number of occasions. Alex even took the time to video the facilities in both rooms and sent it to our family via What’s App. It was an incredibly thoughtful thing to do and helped to reassure my mum that her Jersey accommodation would meet all her needs. Thank you Alex for creating a very special holiday destination. My family had a truly wonderful holiday.

Ideal location & very clean and comfortable - all you need for light cooking, spacious room and comfortable bed. Bathroom a god size and good shower. Good access to bus routes ( 15 to airport and to St. Helier for onward travel). Good restaurants very close and supermarket for breakfast needs. Very helpful staff.
