Smart Stay Inn - Saint Augustine

Nice, Clean, Great staffing. The front desk guy Jared called me when I got into my room to make sure I was okay and if I needed anything. Being a mature traveler, it was a nice touch. the bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean and the breakfast food was delicious. Sweet place.
Hampton Inn St. Augustine Beach

Spacious room but was told upon check in that beach access was closed due to recent hurricane damage. I needed that information prior to booking the hotel as we had an elderly person in our group and it caused us having to drive to nearby beach access. Also this is a hotel that allows dogs which did not bother us during our stay but could be an issue for some. This was the first time at a Hilton that the mattress was not comfortable.
Americas Best Value Inn Ocean Inn

We really liked this hotel. The rooms are a bit old fashioned but they are spacious, clean and well maintained. The air conditioner also works well. The breakfast is not much to mention (coffee, donuts and some fruit), but you can't expect everything for the price. The hotel is within walking distance of the beach (which you can also use by car) and a five-minute drive from the bridge to Saint Augustine.

This was very great on our way to Miami. Everyone was very friendly and met ours needs. Location was on main highway and many choices for food and gas nearby. The managers were very accommodating. I will stay again on next time in Florida.
Edgewater Inn - St. Augustine

Local friends told us that this hotel has been in existence for decades and was originally a motel. The hotel is on the outlying island, across the water from the main city, and the highway bridge connecting the peninsula is next to the hotel, with convenient transportation, but the hotel is still very quiet. There are not many rooms in the hotel, but they are spacious and bright, the beds are good and the breakfast is great!
