Good location! Just a bit dissapointed they charged for a parking when at the time of booking it was already included.

I have stayed here numerous times but not in a while. It was only the manager that saved this from being a ‘nail in the coffin’ review. Hats off to her, she’s terrific. The late eve front desk guy was abrupt, unhelpful and quite arrogant when asked for documentation to support the c/card receipt of preauthorisation deposit of $150 that seems ridiculously large given the room was under $110. The room itself was damp, stank and I had to have the dehumidifier setting on the aircon on all night. The bath was very slow to drain, bathroom sink was cracked and scratched, everything looked tired and smelled terrible and the icing on the cake was the drilling first thing in the morning that sounded like it was coming from the next room door… nice! The manager has offered to look after me next time and I will certainly give it a shot, but a less persistent person would have given up and left after dealing with the late night reception staff’s attitude. The room itself was clean and tidy but the smell was awful. Hopefully next time, if I choose to return, will be an improvement.

The receptionist didn’t provide good service didn’t help while changing room but other than it was a good hotel and at a good location if you wanna move around in city

Nice and cosy place in st kilda not too far to tram stop that can take you in to town.

Checking into the place was great! Nice and friendly! Staying in the family room was great! Enough room for all of us to stay! Nice seating area. Excellent price for what you get. Gym and sauna was a great addition to the place.

Hotel was clean and the rooms were large, giving enough room for two backpackers. The hotel staff were amazing at dealing with an issue with some guests next door and even came and found us again the next day to explain what had happened. The gym was fine to use for us too!

Excellent for weekend out. Shopping or anything you like .easy place near bich chapel street st Kilda rod.

The stay in Barkly Crest is fantastic, it's not my first visit, they provide excellent and friendly service, therefore I'm back again! Location is perfect easy access to foods, close to city, friendly and helpful staffs. Only little flaw that toilet bowl wasn't clean at all, there was urine mark and bleeding mark (menstrual bleeding) from previous visitor that still left it unclean. A bit of awful to be honest. Large bed comfortably fit for 2 people (although I am solo traveler this time). Room with window (it says 'double room no window' when I booked), and all went well. Room heater perfectly warm. Large mirror for make up and dress up ..... Had good rate on the day I booked, secure parking overnight (just $20 safe and secure). I will definitely back again when come to St Kilda.

The location was perfect. It’s paid parking which I failed to see anywhere. Restaurant was shut for lunch n dinner but otherwise it was nice for the price
