Briar Rose Cottages

We stayed in Cedar Cottage. We being 2 couples....but it is 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms so would be very comfortable for 3 couples. The kitchen is very well equipped. Some treasures are a decanter of port and lovely crystal port glasses, a packet of Tim Tams, a tea pot with loose leaf tea and a tea strainer, wood heater and and outdoor fire pit with plenty of firewood, fire lighters, newspaper and matches, a coffee machine with pods supplied. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms spacious. Also loved the Zero Co products. Debbie was very helpful and answered my queries promptly. I don't really want to say anything negative as we thoroughly enjoyed staying here but my only suggestion would be that the TV may need an upgrade as the sound is not good.

The cottage is so beautiful and cosy. We loved every moment there. The cottage was clean and had everything there that you needed. The fireplace was amazing. The compliment Tim Tams and port was an extra special touch. Highly recommend it. .

Perfect for our needs. Lovely, well appointed cottage. Excellent personal touches like Tim tam, port and quality soap, shampoos etc. So happy that there were fulls sets of cutlery, plates, cups and glasses. Often in self contained places, you find the bare minimum. Spotlessly clean. Every interaction with Deb was faultless, friendly and accommodating. It is slightly out of the main city centre, again, perfect. On a main road, but we were no distributed by any traffic noise or even noticed it. I would definitely recommend

Lovely cottage with fireplace. Very private. Loved it here. Note circular staircase to loft ( bed) may challenge some people. Wine tour picked up and dropped back at Briar Rose. Felt homely. Perfect for couples.

What a pleasant stay we had in the Cedar Cottage at Briar Rose Cottages. The cottage was very clean, modern features inside, well decorated, spacious but cosy. The kitchen was well stocked, even with some pantry staples. Loved the use of local/ sustainable/ recycled products throughout the cottage. Very much enjoyed the wood fireplace, which was already set up on arrival. Beautiful back deck that overlooked the gorgeous yard and neighbouring apple tree farm. The online photos look amazing, but it was even better in the flesh. The cottage had a lot of surprising extras that really topped off our stay. Great location to town and easy to get out to see all attractions. We stayed as family of 6 (2x kids, 2x parents, 2x grandparents) and it was enjoyed by all. We stayed for 3nights, but really wish it was longer.

We would certainly recommend Briar Rose Cottages for a holiday in Stanthorpe. Our cottage "Mulberry" was clean and comfortable with every amenity required for very pleasant stay. We were able to take our puppy which was very important to us. As the cottages are at the end of the township, it was very quiet. We look forward to visiting Stanthorpe again and staying at Briar Rose Cottages.

We booked this as a getaway The Silky Oak Cottage is so cute just for 2. A great wood burning firebox Very nice bed up a spiral staircase. Beautifully maintained and even a port supplied for a nightcap. Quiet private and only minutes to restaurants, cafes and there are many wineries in the area. We booked for 2 nights and then added an extra night as there is so much to do and see in the area. Truly recommend this cottage for a couples romantic getaway. There are 2 other cottages for 6 and 4 people.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway in the Mulberry Cottage. So gorgeously styled and great location. Debbie was easy to get in contact with and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be back.

What a fantastic place to spend a weekend away. We stayed in the Silky Oak cottage and it was perfect for 2 adults. The log fire was on when we arrived, Tim tams ready for snacking in front of the fire, and lots of nice and sensible touches to ensure this was a home away from home, but with an exciting touch. Bed great, cute loft bedroom with balcony, and big bathroom. Full kitchen eloped us to make our own meals when desired, but plenty of nearby food options. Quiet location and private. We will certainly stay here again!!
