2-Star Hotels in Guiyang

This is my second time staying at Manhui Sujia Hotel, and I'm not disappointed. The hotel not only provides free coffee, juice, milk tea, facial masks and eye masks, but also free use of washing machines and dryers. The lounge area at the front desk is also very thoughtful. The hotel also has a homemade guide for reference. It is really friendly for foreign tourists. The sanitation is super clean and tidy, even the dead corners are cleaned very well. The service of the lady at the front desk is super good and super enthusiastic. After sending us to the room, she also introduced us how to use the facilities in the room. It's so thoughtful. I highly recommend it, highly recommend it, and I say it three times because it's important. I will bring my friends with me next time.

Everything else was great, especially how cups and towels were sealed in plastic bags, which made guests feel very secure using them. The hotel staff were also very friendly, and the location isn't too far from the subway station. However, after the first day, the next two days were a terrible experience: First, there was the noise. That evening, the guests next door were talking so loudly they woke me up. While this is partly due to the inconsiderate guests, it also shows that the hotel's soundproofing isn't very good. Second, the secondhand smoke. After being woken up by the noise next door, I switched to a different room type for my extended stay the next day. The front desk staff was lovely and said she'd give me a quieter room, but as soon as I entered, there was a strong smell of smoke. At the time, I thought it was just the lingering smell from the previous guest, so I moved in and went out. However, when I returned that evening, the smoke smell was even worse. Neither turning on the air conditioning nor the exhaust fan helped. By 11 or 12 at night, the smoke was so heavy it felt like my mouth and tongue were numb. I later realized the smoke was likely coming from the bathroom exhaust fan. Trying to cover the fan with the hotel's shower cap didn't work, and even just a short moment in the bathroom made me feel like my whole body smelled of smoke. I didn't sleep well that night either; even after showering, I still smelled. The next morning, the bathroom was unbearable, and opening the room and bathroom doors didn't help at all. I mean, for such a big brand chain hotel, why is the smoke smell in the rooms so severe?! Is the fresh air system poorly designed or what? Honestly, apart from the facilities, all other options could have received full marks, as I had no other complaints besides these two points—in fact, I was quite satisfied. But because of the noise and secondhand smoke (especially the secondhand smoke), I don't want to give full marks to the other options. In short, I hope the hotel understands: even if there are many smokers in China, the majority of people do not smoke!

This is the only hotel at Guiyang where I stayed for a night without rushing to visit any attraction. I felt so comfortable watching TV movie films inside the hotel room. This is also the intermittent stop before I proceed to Kaili after touring Xingyi. The location of the hotel is convenient as it is located directly opposite the Guiyang North Railway Station. I took the high speed train from Xingyi South at about 10.45 am and reached Guiyang North railway station in the afternoon. I booked via trip.com and it costs S$27.78 per night. The hotel has just opened last year and everything is so new, modern and clean. No breakfast is included but there are many eateries and restaurants nearby. The access from Guiyangbei Railway Station is via a tunnel and the hotel is located at the end of that tunnel at the West Plaza. My wife is fascinated with the automatic washing machine and dryer and found them very easy to operate when washing her clothes. She also like the sleep inducing flower tea which was provided free at the reception counter. The staff are also courteous and helpful. There is a Luckin cafe below the hotel and my wife bought a cup for her breakfast. She also likes the nearby hawker stalls selling those glutinous rice and tofu, a typical Guizhou delights. Will book this hotel again if I visit Guiyangbei.

The hygiene was excellent, and it was very quiet with a great view. The front desk staff were also very helpful. Breakfast offered a good variety of options, and the taste was quite good, plus they had freshly ground coffee. The hotel is conveniently located close to both the high-speed train station and the city center, making it very easy to get around. Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The service was incredibly attentive, and the front desk staff were so warm and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable, making for a great overall experience. The location is super convenient for getting around, with easy subway access to the high-speed rail station. Plus, there are tons of great local snacks and food streets nearby! Highly recommend~

I lost something. It's very valuable jewelry. I haven't found it yet. I don't know what happened. I didn't find it at the time. They didn't give me a reply saying that they would contact me if they found it. This is very bad. This jewelry is quite important to me. It's not a matter of money.

I highly recommend this place! The room was spotless and well-maintained. The bathtub was perfect for photos, and it was so relaxing to soak while peeking out the window. The butler service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive, making our stay absolutely fantastic. The only minor issue was that the hot water for the large bathtub wasn't quite enough, but the butler informed us beforehand that we could use a kettle to supplement it, which was very helpful. Overall, I'm very satisfied! And seriously, I'm not a shill, I'll definitely be back!

I like it here, everything is spacious and bright, the space is quite large, the air conditioner is on the top of the bed, in winter, the hot air is directly out in seconds, the TV is broadcasted in high-definition picture quality is very bright, the TV station is particularly large, the program can be seen casually, staying in the homestay can enjoy such hotel service, very good! It is located in the 7 blocks of the North Station Dream City. It is very quiet and stylish. The bus and subway are convenient. It is very suitable for traveling with elderly children. Anyway, we take a taxi wherever we go.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Stars – An Absolutely Fantastic Stay! My stay at Shangjing Hotel (Guiyang Railway Station Hongtongcheng Shopping Center Branch) was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly and professional staff. The service was outstanding – always helpful, smiling, and ready to assist with anything I needed. The location is excellent. Situated near Guiyang Railway Station and Hongtongcheng Shopping Center, the hotel is in a vibrant and convenient area with plenty of shopping, food, and transportation options nearby. It made the whole stay smooth and enjoyable. The hygiene standards were top-notch. The room was spotless, fresh, and very well maintained. Everything felt clean and comfortable. And the beds… amazing! The mattresses were incredibly soft and comfortable, giving me some of the best sleep I’ve had while traveling. After a long day, it was pure luxury to relax in such a cozy bed. Overall, an outstanding experience with excellent service, great staff, perfect cleanliness, and a fantastic location. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!
