Grand Guishan Hotel

"This hotel offers great value for money, centrally located just a stone's throw from Wenchang Pavilion. It's a high-rise building with a range of facilities including dining, foot massages, regular massages, and a spa. Although it's an older building, the renovations make it feel quite new. The rooms are clean, and all room types have a similar decor. You get a view from the window, though the soundproofing is a bit lacking. Coincidentally, it was spring break during my stay, and many families with children checked in. I was able to communicate with the staff to promptly resolve any noise issues. The hotel's 6th to 8th floors house private dining rooms for the Chinese restaurant, while the 11th floor is for casual dining. The restaurant's food is excellent, with fresh ingredients. The 9th floor has an outsourced massage and foot massage parlor, which also provides good service. Overall, I'd rate it as very good value for money. Key card access for rooms adds to the security. The room decor is quite simple, so I didn't take any photos. Right outside the hotel, to the left, you'll find Guizhou's intangible cultural heritage sour soup fish restaurant and a spicy chicken restaurant, both highly recommended."

"The location is excellent! It's within walking distance of Qingyun Market and Jiaxiu Tower. The room isn't huge, but it's well-equipped, clean, and hygienic."

"The room was overpriced, and the breakfast options were limited and unappetizing. The room itself was small, and the facilities and overall ambiance certainly didn't live up to a 5-star standard. Neither the service nor the room's condition justified the price. Check-in at the front desk was incredibly chaotic, and the hotel's cleanliness also left much to be desired."

"I had a great stay in Tengya Hotel. It's a little far from the city center, but this area itself is pretty nice. You can walks around and find anything you need. The reception was helpful, the hotel had daily cleaning, and the view from my room was pretty cool!"

"This is a superlative hotel and it’s very sophisticated. The staff is super nice and exemplifies Guizhou hospitality. The staff went out of their way for me and I even got some fruit and a free bottle of wine and given that business was slow. I got a free upgrade very very happy with the room and my experience here. The location is excellent in the views are sublime! The Pagoda / pavilion or illuminated at night. There are many things to do right there and you do not need ridesharing or taxi or anything. I definitely will go back here next time. I am in Guiyang! This is not a superfluous review. I really feel that I lucked out with this hotel and it was more of a luxury experience than a mere hotel stay."

"Excellent service and a fantastic experience overall. The hotel's prime location is a huge plus, with tons of great restaurants, including many trendy spots, all within easy reach. It's incredibly convenient for getting around, and the cleanliness was top-notch. A really good stay!"

"The Gumoni Hotel boasts an excellent location, making it very convenient to take a taxi to Huaguoyuan White House, and perfect for a leisurely visit to Jiaxiu Tower at night. You'll find plenty of sour soup beef and griddle-cooked dishes nearby. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped."

"I'm beyond frustrated. My flight arrived late at night, and the hotel had no parking available. I ended up parking on B3, and then spent ages trying to register my license plate this morning because the staff wasn't thorough. They were so eager for a good review, but when I left, my plate hadn't been registered at all. I was stuck at the garage entrance for ages, and when I called, it took forever to sort out. They told me to pay first and they'd arrange a refund, but I haven't heard anything all day. This is truly the worst service I've ever experienced, no exaggeration."

"This Atour Hotel is super convenient, right next to Guiyang North Station's West Plaza. It's just a 10-minute walk from the station. Downstairs, there are so many food options, literally everything you could want! I was so surprised when they gave me a welcome gift and a fruit box at check-in. I have no idea why, but they just handed me a big bag full of goodies! 🥹"
