This wasn't my first time in Shawan, and the area has changed quite a bit, especially the Dapanji street. The hotel's facilities are pretty much the same as they were years ago—rather basic, with poor soundproofing. If you're not from Xinjiang, the time difference might affect your experience. Parking was convenient, though, and the breakfast was okay. It was a buffet, and this time too, they had eggs, small steamed buns, and flower rolls, mostly vegetarian. Since Xinjiang eats so much meat, having vegetarian options was a welcome bonus. I think there were wedding guests staying at the hotel last time, and there were some this time, too. We had Dapanji on a nearby street. It usually costs around 120 yuan. There are a lot of yogurt vendors along the street, with a small portion of 6 yuan and a large portion for 10 yuan. It's pretty good, and you can choose to have it without sugar.
