2-Star Hotels in Gironde

The room was hot and there was no way to alter the temperature other than turn it off. The room needs reconfiguring as it was not suitable for 2 people. As we are of a certain age and need to get up in the night, it was impossible to do so as the bed was against the wall. It was not fit for the purpose of sleep. The bed was hard and being 186 CMS my feet hung over the edge and was uncomfortable. The breakfast was expensive for what there was available and this was limited. We will not be using this hotel again and others in the area will get our business in the future.

The hotel is newly renovated. The reception lobby is designed as muti propose use: playing table tennis, book reading, food enjoying. The sound proof in the room is good. Many choose is for the breakfast. The tram stop is just at the front of the hotel. You may take a tram ride to the hotel from airport with 1.7Euro. There is less than 10 minutes walk to the railway station or take a tram ride for a stop only. The staff is quite helpful. The disadvantage is the room is relatively small.

One advantage of this hostel is that there is a Carrefour supermarket next to it to buy everything. The girls themselves can buy breakfast or drinks. They are themselves a small bar and can buy coffee in the morning, but the coffee is not good. Very good, I live in a girl's room, the locker at the bedside takes a little time to study how to use the lock, you will understand what I am saying when you live in, I thought he was bad at first, remember to bring your own lock, Otherwise, you can buy with them when checking-in. The good place for this store is that he has an elevator, but everyone in the elevator can go up and down, so the only thing protecting yourself is the key of your room, so remember to lock the door. There is no place to hang clothes in the bathroom. There is a hair dryer. The toilet is separated from the bathroom. It is not very clean. It is a bit shabby. Perfect! Right opposite the train station and bus stop for airport meaning a trip without a car was smooth. I see a few comments about the rooms and it wasn’t the Marriot in terms of room standard but it was local and authentic. Spotlessly clean, everything in the room worked , it was comfortable and the right temperature. The breakfast was  very good and well worth the small cost. The staff were so very helpful and gave advice about a day trip to the Dune du Pilat and how to walk to the restaurant area in the city centre and gave me a city map. Highly recommended, don’t hesitate to stay. They also offered me a left luggage facility while I went out for the day after checking out. Note that the railway station is very large. Depending which door you come out of it’s to left of the centre of the station as you come out. Just a few meters from the station. Perfect!

The hotel is only about 900 meters away from Bordeaux Airport. There is a Ding Ding Airport Line next to it, which takes you directly to Bordeaux city. It takes about 30 minutes. The hotel room is a little small, but very clean. The transportation is convenient.

I had a good overall experience during my stay. The location is very convenient and makes it easy to get around the city. The staff were polite and helpful whenever I needed assistance. The common areas were also well maintained. The hotel is very basic, with somewhat dated facilities, but the bed and shower were perfect. It's located on the outskirts of Bordeaux (approximately a 10-minute drive) and close to the trade fair and exhibition center. The breakfast buffet is adequate, with everything you need for a decent breakfast. A car is necessary to get there, but the hotel has private parking that is locked at night for security.
